All credibility was lost after the very first sentence... "According to trainer Floyd Mayweather Sr" .
For FMJ sake, Sr. should have to run everything he says to the media by Jr. first, then hopefully we wouldn't hear much from him. Although, I doubt FMJ minded this one too much.

According to trainer Floyd Mayweather Sr., there are rumors floating around that WBA welterweight champion Shane Mosley is getting beat up in training camp by his sparring partners. 1) floyd would never step in the ring with a prime winky or forrest, he'd duck them

2) it possible mosley is getting beat up in sparring cause his nose was discolored at the press con

3) floyd's sparring is better than his fights. he actually lets his hands go in sparring, but he potshots in real fights.

4) don't expect floyd to "let his hands go" against mosley.

Not because of this. For me Floyd is not that great if this is a close fight. However, I do think Mosley is too old and his style is not right for beating Floyd. I do think he has a shot against Mayweather though, simply because Floyd has never fought a guy this good, ever, castillo is probably the closest and Mosley is a big WW. Nothing Floyd sr. says matters, he heard he was getting his ass whooped? from who? against who? This is the same guy that thought Ricky Hatton was going to beat Pac because Manny has a weak body. Yeah good call he was KO'd with a body shot when he was like 20 yrs old and weight drained.

These sparring stories are getting way out of hand nowadays, wasn't Floyd supposed to be getting beat up by Lamont Peterson in sparring, it's all BS. Paul Williams made a name for himself by talkin about how he knocked Margarito out in sparring with a body shot which then got him fired & talked about so much he got the chance to back it up (which he did). All i'm saying is don't take these sparring stories too seriously cos Ali used to clown around in sparring while Foreman was blowing guys away & look what happened when they fought.

But, I have read for the last couple of weeks that Shane is getting beat up in sparring. And, it could be true.

He might of peaked to early, the back-to-back training camps might of really hurt him. Especially since he is 39. Plus he is coming off the longest layoff of his career. So it might be true. I take Sr word with a grain of salt.

Mosley has been done since the 1st Forrest (RIP) fight. He has the Margarito win, and that's about it. It's amazing what hype can do.

Mayweathers have insecurity issues. They always have to put down their opponents to make themselves feel better.

Jr. has a problem. He is scared of Mosley, been ducking him for years now and got backed into a corner and had to fight him to save face.

Did you see how easily Mosley handled Jr in the little scuffle. Instead of jr nearly kissing him with death stares he was manhandled by Mosley. Jr jumped like he was gonna do something to Mosley in a bluff but did you see Mosley didn't even flinch.

I did notice that. Granted, may not mean much in a fight but Shane definitely won't be losing the mental battle. In fact, dare I say it's the exact opposite?
