I have said plenty of times that he is a great boxer but I hate his attitude and persona. Sure I bash the guy, not for his boxing skills or lack thereof but for his antics and trashtalk. I mean I'm not one to go on and on and on about *****s or whatever. Pac is not even my favorite boxer but when it comes to his personality and Floyd's, I'd favor Pac's. If Floyd acted differently, I'd be all about him, he isn't humble or respectful.

After Clottey's punching bag rountine, I doubt anybody does well (PPV numbers) fighting his sorry ass. Nobody wants to see a guy fight that has no heart. Clottye was given a shot at the WW title as well as the opportunity of beating Pacquiao and he didn't take the risks that were necessary. Good luck putting him a PPV fight anytime soon.

Baldomir is a well known opponent than Clottey and he got 350k buys?

Clottey never headlined a PPV and only appeared on HBO card very few times.

Floyd fighting Clottey would be a Big time FLOP!

Floyd has to depend on the fanbase of Marquez, Hatton and DLH to get more PPV buys.

Now fighting people like Baldomir and Judah who has no fanbase look at the results.. A major Flop for Floyd.

51k attendance and 700k buys is only for the name PACQUIAO and nobody else.

DLH was the A side, Hatton was the A side and a lot of people were cheering for Marquez..

If you honestly believe Pac will settle for anything less than 50/50 you are a complete idiot. I believe Floyd right now is the biggest ppv draw (has to beat Mosley) but there is no debate who the bigger star is. Pac is the p4p king, 7 division world champ, fighter of the decade, NIKE sponsored and pride of Philippines.

I thought you opinion actually made sense until I read this line. IF Floyd is the bigger PPV draw, then Floyd IS the biggest star. The biggest star is the one who draws the most attention/fans and the most money. That would be Floyd Mayweather. It doesn't matter how many awards you win nor does it matter how many divisions you win a title in. All that matters in boxing is THE MONEY, and Floyd "Money" Mayweather is king in that area.

I don't get why people are getting in a pissing contest because of the fact that Floyd vs. Shane will most likely be more. Clottey isn't really a household name in boxing where as Floyd, Shane and Manny are. Pac's fight had one huge name and Floyd vs. Shane has two. You do the math.

This is what happens when you fight Cotto 1.2 million buys. And then go fight the guy who just lost to Cotto after you destroyed Cotto=700,000 buys don't worry they'll try and make it look good by saying Manny did it all by himself lol. That's just a cover up. He wasn't in the ring by himself all night now was he? alright then. And didn't Arum say that Pacquiao-Clottey would sell as much as Pacquiao-Cotto? yeah he did. Pacquiao couldn't even crack a million. Well one thing is for sure. He can forget about a 50-50 split with Mayweather that is out the window. And he has noone to blame but himself cause he quickly signed to fight Clottey to duck Mayweather!!

I do get what you are saying but I don't think that audience makes up a large portion of Mayweather viewers
