Risk vs Reward, If ward wins the supersix, he'll be a big money fighter, huge draw. If he leaves right now, theres alot of buzz about him after his dominating performance, if he loses the supersix he'll lose some of that buzz. Perhaps he's looking at it as a cash in now scenerio.
If he leaves, this ruins the future of any other supersix tournaments, essentially everything they were worried about happening is beginning to happen.
Supersix at the end will have Froch (who i suspect will lose somewhere along the line), Abraham and 4 new guys.
No reason for him to pull out there are plenty of good match-ups he could have in the Super 6 and then he can have a legitimate claim at being the top dog in the division if he wins the tourney.
Guys, it's pretty simple. Andre Ward and Chris Arreola are both promoted by Dan Goosen. Goosen wants to be at both of their fights. Both of them fight big fights on April 24th. I know Goosen said he had a way of jumping on a plane right after the Ward fight to see the Arreola fight but that's just bull****.
