IA, but The main thing that intrigues people that call it a touch fight is Clottey's punch resistance (Mixed with the peek a boo defense) and his size, thats the main reason for calling this a dangerous fight. Not cause of anything he does special.

LOL and only Pac fans - such as Rocky Balboa here - and Clottey fans think this won't be an easy fight for Pac. Pac fans want to big up Clottey to make this fight seem more important or difficult than it really is, so they can give Pac loads of credit for the win.

Clottey will be tough and won't be put away easy, but he just won't cause any real problems for Pac. That is pretty much a fact.

Clottey has caused real problems for everyone he's ever fought, and he's fought some top fighters. He's got more chance of causing real problems for Pac than any other Welterweight except Floyd and Shane. That's pretty much a fact.

I agree with you. If Clottey is an easy fight for Pac that only reinforces the fact that Pac is the best fighter on the planet. Clottey is not an easy fight for anyone and you can argue that he has never really lost a fight.

Clottey is the same guy who lost to Carlos Baldmoir. So these people acting like Clottey is so great must have the utmost respect for former WW champ Carlos Baldomir who Floyd Mayweather outclassed.

man, offense is not at all about punch stats. if that was the case, everyone on this board would worship floyd, because his punch stats are leagues above everyone else's. clottey's problem is he doesnt know when to turn it up to the next level. he fights at his opponent's level. and he loses that way as well...his offense aint better than cotto's, his offense was maybe just as good as cotto's but it could have been better. who's fault was it that it wasnt???it was clottey's. he has huge flaws, and he shouldnt be fighting manny.

Floyd also has a decent offence. His punch accuracy is incredible.

Clottey didn't just land more punches than Cotto, he also threw a very respectable number of punches, and was a lot more accurate than Cotto. To say he has no offence is ridiculous. And to say that a top 5 Welterweight shouldn't be in the ring with Manny is also ridiculous. He was easily the best available fighter at the time the Mayweather fight fell through (given that Shane wasn't available at that time).

Clottey is one of the best welters today, and has been for a few years now. Back when he fought Margarito, dudes like you, were on his nuts because he was a roadblock for Tony to get to Floyd. Many people thought Clottey won that fight, and the Cotto fight.
