By aged 23 he had unified two world titles at super-bantamweight. He defended his IBF strap several times before moving naturally to featherweight to seek bigger fights. Sure, he was beaten twice when he was younger, coming up; twice succumbing to body shots. But he improved. He got stronger. He was always an explosive, aggressive fighter. Working with Roach refined his style and they've improved fight-by-fight. I don't know why people start accusing him of roids just because of the manner in which he's beaten other fighters. With his speed and power, he was always a great fighter, but Roach has him moving in and out, practising defence and bobbing and weaving. They're a great team. He beat DLH and Hatton, like Floyd - another fighter who'd come from a small weight class, did but he's the one accused of steroids. Surely he would have been caught at some point, like Fernando Vargas was caught, like other boxers have been caught; I know the NSAC has its critics, but if Floyd wants to accuse Manny of steroid usage he should appeal to the commission.
    Exactly.

Many premier athletes got better after 25.

Kobe Bryant, Peyton Manning, Ken Griffey Jr., Tom Brady, Willie Mays, Jerry Rice, etc etc.

After the age of 25 is when you start matching up the brain to the body to produce more efficiently because you have more knowledge of your craft.

Look at Gamboa now, hes a better fighter than he was when he was 24. Lots of fighters are better after the age of 25.

The entire notion by Floyd is ridiculous.

the testing the commission has been giving for years is so beatable why wouldn't he? Shane had no problem beating it did he? **** if it wasn't for a Baseball player getting caught up you would still to this day believe Shane was always clean right? knowing that undisputed fact I don't see HOW you can have a problem with the testing..

honestly man it's so easy to beat a piss test nowadays, these tests don't hold up. we don't know how many people cheated their way into Millions of dollars cheating the whole time, the brick layer did it, Mosley did it and now Pacquiao probably did but he doesn't want to prove to us that he didn't..

his trainer was the same trainer who roid-ed James Toney and Mike Tyson, the only times they ever had anything like that in them it was Freddie Roach, the same guy who trains Manny Pacquiao trained them, not to even mention Alex Ariza whose name was also wrapped in the whole Balco scandal, honestly all you have to do is apply common logical sense but how can you when you don't have any?

The ONLY reason that Floyd didn't turn to the commission for more in depth testing was because Pacquiao and Co. got the commission in their pockets, how else can they get the "commission" to sanction a Welterweight Title fight in a bout where the limit is 145, add that to the fact that they have continuously failed to give thorough testing, to the fact that they signed off the plaster filled glove that the brick layer already had wrapped in the Mosley bout
