get your facts straight. Mayweather already signed the fight against marquez before pac vs. hatton. he didnt wait for the winner of that fight.

that is ducking coz that number 2 pd for pd is a lightweight ffs. And he even cheated the weight. He could have wait for pac vs. hatton before signing that MISMATCHED fight.

he announced he was fighting the day of that fight, why does he have to wait. Fact of the matter is you can make the same arguments about both fighters. Bob arum was negotiating with Yuri Foreman to fight Pacquaio at 154lbs, this is while they were still negotiating with mayweather, and the day that had the mediator oversee negotiations, bob arum was already saying that his fighter was going to fight Clottey, so the only person that sounds scared or is ducking is Manny Random. Before he even fought hatton you never heard a peep about Pacquaio wanting to fight mayweather. Now all of a sudden he's ducking him because he didnt wait 2 see who won between pac/hatton. WHat if hatton one, was he suppose to fight him again. But then again he could take a page from Manny's book, and fought the loser, knock him out, and we can all pro-claim how great he is.

please, take a look at the list of manny's opponents since he moved up. He fought David Diaz, when there was Juan Diaz and Nate campbell at that division. He fought De La Hoya at WW, who didnt fight at that division in almost a decaded. After he took a beating from Mayweather at his respective 154lb jr middleweight division. Whats worse is that De La Hoya was already at a handicap because Roach coached him to his loss to mayweather, then probably told Pacquaio where de la hoya was weak at an manny capitalized. Prior to the fight Roach has always said that Oscar cant pull the trigger anymore and that's why he fought him then. He fought Hatton, after Mayweather knocked him out. Then Fought cotto, who in his last 3 fights prior to Pacquiao, got his ass handed to him by Margarito, had a confidence building fight with a novice Michael Jennings, then another close call win(could've gone either way) to Clottey. Now he's fighting Clottey, who just lost, to the guy that Pacquaio just demolished, and im suppose to look at this guy's body of work over the last 3 to 4years, and pretend that it adds up to the 13 year career of Mayweather's. lol, This guy has a fight on saturday and him and his trainer are still talking Mayweather, if you felt you won negotiations you would let the loser do the talking. That's what Mayweather is doing. Team Pacquiao looks desperate to save his image here in the states.

oh come on caster, im just saying if pac wants credit for defeating all these different wt classes he should fight at the wt limit of each class. he should not get credit for beating guys at CATCH WTs and its no big secret he fought plenty of guys at catch wts. i dont think one fighter should have an edge over another. if he wants the ww title he should fight at the ww limit of 147 not force guys to come down to 142 and such. thats a crappy move. smart but crappy.

A 10,000,000 dollar weight penalty on a WW limit fight is not required by NSAC either.Both fighters had a request (which is normal in negotiations),but one of them didn't want the trade off-simple as....if Manny wants the fight,he will have to take the same tests as Shane is.

Dont waste your time arguing with these guys, manny made a million demands and mayweather granted all of them, from the purse split, to fighting around pacquaio's schedule so promotions wouldnt interfere with his election. To the size gloves the fighters are going to wear. The only demand mayweather made was for testing, AND HE'S TAKING THE SAME ****ING TEST TOO, AND SO IS SHANE.

And if he really felt that way then he would have took the Random Blood and Urine tests instead of playing the 99 excuses game. beat clottey and then go roll in the mud back home with the rest of those political pigs/thieves.

You are missing the point. I agree that floyd got the upperhand in negotiations if they will fight pac. But you have to accept the fact that he got lucky. Without mosley, he will be fighting light welter weights or lightweights again.

How can you say that, you must be going by the history. You figure since manny followed his trend of fighting fighters that are shot, or loss there prior fight, that mayweather was going to fight another LW. He's off for 2 years and you guys want him to fight mike tyson. He fought a guy that called him out after his prior fight, something that manny never did when being interviewed after his.

The point is that Floyd is fighting Shane Mosley and that his fight
with Shane is bigger and more competitive than Pac's fight with
Clottey as viewed by the masses. I don't believe that Floyd was
forced to fight Mosley because he hadn't yet made a decision on
who to fight unlike Pac and when the unfortunate situation happened
with Andre Berto's withdrawl, Floyd jumped at the chance to fight
Shane. Note that Ellerbe was already talking about if the Pac fight
didn't materialize that Floyd would fight Shane. They were even
eterntaining the idea of wait for after the Berto/Shane fight
to make a decision. Floyd *****s Pac all day and that's not me
coming down on Pac but rather calling it how I see it.

How can you say that, thats like saying manny never really wanted to fight FLoyd. How many opponents did we hear bob arum mention during the course of those negotiations. First it was Yuri Foreman at 154lbs and they negotiated with Clottey before mayweather/pacquiao fell apart. Im not saying that Mosley was high on Floyds wish list, but after the fight with Pacquaio fell apart, as a fan, i wouldnt of excused Mayweather anymore if he didnt fight Mosley. So why Mosley wasnt mayweather 1st choice, after Pacquiao it was the only fight that made sense. Floyd is dammed if he does, dammed if he does not. He took a harder fight than Pacquaio, and we still call floyd out like he isn't going to go through with it. My question to you, if berto vs Mosley did go through, and this was after pac/mayweather negotiations fell apart, who do you think Floyd should've fought. Hating for no reason, he took the toughest fight at that weight after Pacquaio didnt sign and we're blasting Mayweather.

Where is the outcry for Manny to take the blood test, vice versa if that was Mayweather who refused you guys would be killing him , calling him every steroid cheating ****** you can think of. When this was baseball as fans we wanted to know who was cheating, why they were cheating, and for how long. Mayweather is guilty until proven innocent, and Pacquiao is innocent until proving guilty. This makes me think about teddy atlas's comment during the negotiations of mayweather/pacquaio. He stated that a New York reporter received an email from Pacquiao's camp asking 2 questions. 1. What would be the penalties for Pacquiao if he tested positive and 2. Could we keep the failed test a secret for boxing sake. At 1st i thought this was something that Mayweather's camp made up. But the more i hear Pacquaio's camp the more they make there fighter look ******. Do i believe Pacquiao is taking steroid's no, he never tested positive, but because he never did, doesnt mean that he's not taking them either.

and you believe that ****? If floyd wins pac will take the tests, floyd will now use the purse split to **** the fight again. He will ask not less than 60%.

Just think simple. the fight between pac and floyd could have pushed through without the OST. just like other great fights. they would be fighting this weekend if not for those additional tests.
