Well written article Tito is one of the fighters that sping to mind as true stars of the Game. For example Tito, along with Gatti spring to mind when talking about Fights of the Year.

I think we need to put things into context however and I will list them in particular order just fighters who stand out in my lifetime that I have seen live or on TV, Trindad, Julian Jackson, Terry Norris, Julio Cesar Chavez, Mike Tyson, Naseem Hamed, Arturo Gatti these guys are not the best boxers but certainly are Hall of Fame fighters unlike Johnny Nelson, Marlon Starling, Winky Wright, Bernard Hopkins to name just a few who I could not care less if they were fighting King Kong it would still be a boring fight. Wright beat Trindad does not make him a legend just a good boxer. If he beats Hopkins then deserve a place.

Of course you would say something like that But, Then again you're entitled to your own opinion no matter how ludacris it may sound. Tito is definitely in the top 5 fighter of his era and that's why he'll be inducted into the boxing hall of fame. He has fought the best fighters of each division and IMO he has absolutely nothing to prove to anyone.

Look this is really quite simple!! In no particulkar order Ill name ten fighters from this era better than Tito

I'm sure his fans didn't enjoy that one, what about the ass whoopin from Sturm before that, yet they gave him the gift..his fans really loved that one...Oh and let's not talk about the marathon he ran against Trinidad...

I am not a Tito fan but that is a well written article.. Congratulations.. I can tell that you put alot of heart and effort into it.. With all due respect though, I think it's unfair to put Tito as a top 5 fighter of his era.. I don't even think he cracks the Top ten of his era!!

Ive never liked Oscar, I went for Trinidad when they faught.
The only thing I like of Oscar is his ambition.

Hate !! Damn that's a pretty strong word.. I dont hate anybody here, I dont even know anyone here!! I dont hate Tito or his biased supporters.. I hate the Hypocrisy of his supporters in regards to analyzing Tito and placing him historically!! I dont care what color a person is or religion a person is.. To me a good person is a good person and a scumbag is a scumbag!! The kid above wrote a well-written article even if I dont agree with its content.. tito is a hall of famer and one of the top fighters of this era he fought top competition never ducking anybody and he was one of the most devestating fighters of this era tito ended careers look at reid,vargas,joppy they were never the same after they fought tito . alot of people say that tito can't box and is overrated but his record is 42-2 and the two looses came to top p4p guys tell me someone who does not have hopkins and winky in their top 5 p4p right now ? ....people that don't give tito credit are just hating .

maybe top 10. Evander Holyfield, Roy Jones, Bernard Hopkins, Oscar De La Hoya, and Sweet Pea def. are ahead of him in my. book and i could go down in weight and add more.
