definitely hopkins did more damage to tito:
first BH played his own style with close to perfection
second BH went slugfest (tito's style) with tito, and still dominated his opponent
third BH scored a KO
winky never did the second and thirdComment

Hopkins, Winky was a sparring session, I never truely saw him dominate, I just saw Trinidad truely fight his fight, and really suck at it, at the end they were all smiles laughing, not in the Hopkins fight, Trinidad got bruised in that one. To even suggest that the Hopkins fight against Trinidad was close up until the KO is foolish. The most rounds you can give Trinidad in the Hopkins fight is round 1, if you ask me. From round 8 to 12 Hopkins laid a pure beating on Tito. Not only was he outscoring him in those rounds as he was doing in the rounds prior to, but he was hurting him. The move he KO'd him with (throwing the uppercut to draw Tito's left hook and land a right hand of his own) was a move he did earlier in the fight, and Trinidad fell for it the same way.Comment

No doubt Hopkins did more damage to Tito - he KO'd him. But Tito never once backed down from him, kept taking the fight to him, all along you (and he for that matter) thought he might have a puncher's chance...
Against Winky he was so thoroughly beaten, everyone (including himself) knew he had no chance by round 6. It was sad in a way, actually...Comment

To me, Wright dominated him more. I could not give Trinidad a single round against Wright. I gave Trinidad rounds 1 and 6 against Hopkins.Comment

I remember saying the same thing when I saw it the second time around. Hopkins threw a lazy uppercut just to get Tito to throw the left hook and then came with the right cross but Tito wasn't weak enough to fall the first time. The one in the 12th round was a jaw cracker though but even then Hopkins pushed Tito down. The fight was over at that point anyway because if Tito didn't fall on his own the follow up would of put him down.Originally posted by jack_the_rippuhComment

i was in boot camp when they fought but when i get out , i saw the fight and i was dating this puertorican chick at the time ... man o man................ me and her ****in step dad damn near got into a fight talkin about hopkins vs trinidad...
but anyway...not only did hopkins beat Tito's ass, did yaw see the knockout ... a big ass left and tito look like he damn near broke his leg when he fell ...and that ***** could not get up ...did u see how long it took him to get up??? he has been knocked down before but not like that... hopkins murdered trinidad....
i saw the fight with winky and i wasnt impressed at all, i will never watch that fight ever again my life because it was boring ass **** , but did yaw see winky's face after the fight? mutha****a look like he was blushin ....his cheeks were red as hellComment
