pacquiao didn't move to arum 'til 2006.

tim austin was at 118 at the time pac was at 122-126. maybe tim could have moved up. i doubt pac could move down to 118.

when could have pac fought mark johnson? at flyweight? 115? pac was at 122 by the time he started fighting in america.

junior jones last fight was at 130 and it was a year before pac even had moved up to 126 let alone 130.
I said fights with Gainer, Johnson, Austin, Grisby, and Jones wouldve been interesting. Thats all i said. You agree right?

Also fights with Guzman, Cambell, Casamayor, Bradley, and Mayweather would be interesting.

And, by the time Pac won the lineal title and became a legitimate opponent for Johnson. Too Sharp was already out of the weight-class... Will Grigsby was another... He was not a legitimate opponet... And, when Pac the lineal title Grigsby was not in his weight-class... I guess you can really reach out, I mean really reach and say that skipped not one weight-class but two weight-classes to avoid Johnson and Austin... But, that is really reaching... And, Gainer was not a legitimate opponent by the time Pac got to 126...
Ey Pac skipping weight classes aside. Im just naming fighters that would have been interesting to watch that he never fought.

Why he could go up in wieght? And, if he feels he has unfinished business at 130 why move up? Especially if he was comfortable at 130 at the time... Why move up? Fighting Morales is the same as fighting Judah... The difference is that Raheem wasn't good enough to stay on top for very long...

Floyd fought Judah after losing to Baldomir. Judah was still a good fighter and so was Morales
He tried to fight Baldomir 1st after that judah loss though. But unlike pacquiao, he eventually did fight baldomir. pacquaio till this day has not fought raheem!

            He hasnt fought anybody slick.

He has a chance to fight Mayweather. We'll see how good Pac is then.

Are you saying that Hatton was more famous in the US than Margarito?

Both were unknown and that is a fact.

Hatton was there to be beat at WW after Collazo gave him a very close fight. He went back down to Jww after.

But Hatton was not a PPV star or anything.

Cotto then decided to move onto to Mosley and was scheduled to fight him in Nov. Hatton then got the fight floyd in Dec. After that, floyd should have fought him though.

Maragarito was a nobody and still was nobody unitl he defeated cotto and floyd was well into retirement by then.
I agree the Cotto fight would have made Floyd move another level. It would be close for a good few rounds until Cotto gasses IMO. I can picture some GREAT world class boxing, movement, speed, power and body work in it from both.

Marg was a nobody, but who was Hatton? No one can say Hatton would have made more PPV's than Marg at the time.

Yea Margarito was a nobody, just the longest reigning WW champ at the time, was just 5-0 against Ring ****zine top 10 fighters at the time, the #1 ranked WW at the time... that is all he was...

                  of course they'd be interesting.

i've always wondered what would have happened if pacquiao had world class trainers from the start and had good promotions from the beginning.

ricardo lopez , mark johnson , paulie ayala , tim austin , bone adams , israel vasquez , rafael marquez , naseem hamed , johnny tapia at 108-126.

Yeah but Baldomir is not Pac's Raheem. Margarito would be it IMO.

I hear you on the Raheem issue. I do feel Pac would have won, but that's my opinion.

why not move up? fighting Morales is not the same as fighting Judah. the Judah fight was basically already see before hand for 1 and Zab still had a belt for 2.

the real difference is that floyd eventually fought both Zab and baldomir. pacquaio on the other hand fought larios after Morales for basically nothing
