Originally posted by O.S.I.R.I.S View PostYou already know I want him to. Hell I truly believe Pac will KO Floyd. But if they don't fight...so what? That is just how boxing works. There are many cases in which a favorite fighter of mines didn't fight a guy I wanted to but It never changed my opinion on him or how I rate them. Just for ****s and giggles here is a brief list
I wish Tyson and Lewis would have fought in the mid 90's. There were several chances and one was before he got KO'd by McCall and another one was earlier on in the 90's.
I wish Hamed would have fought Morales and Pacquiao, but while he hinted at a return, he never was serious and didn't take boxing serious
I wish Roy would have fought Nigel Benn....and those guys were both highly ranked SMW for several years.
I wish B-hop and Roy would have killed their B.S. but never did so as a fan I never got a chance to seem them face each other when they were in their prime and on top of there game.
There are countless other fights but I think you get the point. Bottom line is that boxing has always moved on, despite mega fights not happening. Boxing has and will continue to live on.
This is a huge fight. Legacy defining for both.

Pac's legacy is a whole lot more set than Fraud jrs. There's a reason why Mayweather has a universal reputation of ducking & cherry picking fighters & fights.
The crazy part is, not only are bloggers think this & write this, but writers are well aware of this stigma & regularly mention this in their column & analysis of Mayweather's career.

I don't know where you've been the last few months but every casual boxing fan is on Pacquiao's jock and the media is as well
Thats why its impossible to discredit a Floyd victory over Pacquiao, In 50 years time people will have access to these articles, news reports etc and see that some people were calling Pacquiao a Top 5 ATG

Freddie Roach discredits Pacs wins before AND after the fight and Pac fans act like eh doesn't say the ****.
I mean it goes bopth ways. I hear Floyd sucks, he fights like a girl, hes never beaten anybody, he has no offense...so Floyd fans can say the same thing.

I mean how can beating a guy who has zero chance to win and be so one dimensional, and being so overhyped be considered a great win?
I give him NO chance to beat Floyd. I dont give any one from 147-160 a chance to beat Floyd except you know who.
So YOU cant have it both ways people get mad at Floyd fans for saying hell beat everybody then they say sarcastically say "well Floyd might as well not fight anybody and just retire because hell beat everybody".
Then when he wants to fight those people he cant get credit because HIS fans think he beast Pac easy.
Makes no sense.Last edited by B.U.R.N.E.R; 02-22-2010, 06:03 PM.
