I guess the size advantage he had over Martinez was'nt enough for him. Now he wants his opponents to be even smaller.

If you followed boxing, you'd realise that boxing has weight divisions, not height divisions. If Williams can make the Welterweight limit without being weight drained, then he's a Welterweight. If a Welterweight is capable of being competitive in higher weight divisions, that just means he's an outstanding Welterweight, but he's still a Welterweight, as long as he can make 147.
He says he walks around between fights at just over 150lb, and actually has to put on weight during training in order to be able to fight at higher weights. That is lighter than Cotto, Clottey, and the majority of the top Welterweight fighters.
He's no taller than Hearns, who was an ATG Welterweight.

Shyt Pac would get schooled with his come forward aggressiveness tailor made style for Floyd. Only thing threatening about it is the fact that hes a southpaw with great endurance which would cause problems for about 4 rounds. Floyd at that point would adjust, counter and deliver. Pac then gets called too little/cherry picked by Floyd and or over rated and I don't like that sounds of that. I like Pac
But I thought Mayweather was ***** cause he wouldn't fight #1 WW Mosley? What happened to that theory?
At the end of the day, Mayweather is technically better than both PWILL and Pac. Difference is that PWILL would be a hell of a lot harder of fight and if anyone wanted a chance to see Floyd get beat he's the man that could possibly do it.
You cant call Mayweather a ***** when Roach said Pac wouldn't be ready for a fighter like Mayweather and then Pac comes out uses the I'm scared of needles and blood method.... WRONG, Pac already lost the mind games battle. Again it only gets worse if Mayweather beats Mosley and PWILL steps up to bat....
but bra, if you hate Mayweather. Don't you think you should be promoting a Mayweather vs PWILL fight?

Williams is a far bigger name now than he was when all the top Welters other than Marg and Quintana avoided him because he was high risk low reward. The risk is still high, but the reward is far higher now, and the downside of ducking him is far higher too, in terms of credibility, provided he proves he is still effective at the weight.

Now watch all the haters try to crucify Williams for this. Paul already offered better money to Martinez to rematch him then Martinez is getting for Pavlik and Martinez didn't want to do it. And I agree Pavlik probably should get a little over 50-50, but do you blame how Williams feels about that situation?
However, I like everybody else fail to see how he is going to get any of these guys to fight him. I thought he already offered Collazo a fight when he was at 147 before, and Collazo turned it down. And I'd love to see Williams fight the Mayweather-Mosley winner.

mosley ain't gonna fight pwill. mosley is gonna fight floyd and I think they both have a rematch clause. then he is gonna fight pac win or lose because floyd is scared.
floyd will never fight pwill, because pwill is too big and because of al haymon.
berto still wants to fight jr WWs. also dibella already told pwill that he's scared of pwill.
margo probably ain't coming back for a while
quintana been begging for a rubbermatch for a while now, but pwill didn't want that fight.
pwill is better off cleaning out 154 lbs and fightin pavlik at 160 lbs, at least he will get to fight
