Who the hell does Mayorga think he is, offering Vargas a fourth of the pot? Vargas can sell out pretty much any arena in the country. People forgot about Mayorga after he got embarrassed & exposed by Cory Spinks. And to the best of my recollection, didn't Mayorga get slavewhipped for eight rounds in his last fight?

i used to like vargas, dont really follow him much now. I would agree that he should take a couple of more fights before fighting mayo,imo. hopefully he can comeback and be something again.

What "big payday"? I wasn't aware that Ricardo Mayorga had made it back into the big time. Last I checked, he was still a fringe contender with a small fan base and limited drawing power.

LOL, your crying about low blows what about the glove in the eye ect ect its part of boxing get over it.. Vargas got KTFO by TITO what was it like 5 times going down? The first punch of the fight was a TITO left hook that sent vargas dancing, the same left hook Mayo took flush twice (****** yes!) but what does that tell you about Vargas chin compared to Mayo? Vargas doesn't have the power that TITO has, add the fact that he wants to box now with that DLH type of defense he will go out quickly and brutally agin with Mayorga all over him, he knows it. He has fought journey men since his two big losses, he is not the Vargas of old.

Yea that is kind of pricy, but don't worry once Mayo gets that Castellejo belt, I am sure they will come to some kind of agreement that is unless Vargas really is a puss, I don't think he will duck Mayo he is being smart and needs to beat up on some nobodies before he gets in there with mayo cuz hes still rusty.
