Very true on that

Everyone knows how I felt about Cotto from day one but was
cursed out on numerous occasions because of what I said about
him back then that people are saying about him now. I guess
once Roach took away Cotto's comfortable weight there was
nothing else Cotto had to offer to pull a win out of his ass.

i didnt see them agreeing to fight Shane either.

i think shane is more of a risk than floyd due to shanes power and ability to stand in and trade where as mayweather would be on his bicycle pot shotting the whole fight.

Ok I see ur point makes since the SSM wud be more of a risk cuz he will trade bombs wit Pac while PBF will giv a boxing class. So wat ur sayin is that they were afraid SSM cud put Pac to sleep or was it a combo of his boxing skill and his power?

Fact of the matter is that Freddie Roach don't want Pac in the
ring with Floyd or Mosley because there is a very positive
chance Manny could get exposed and beat bad. How's Pac going
to be getting all this praise and he is not even trying to get it
on with the 2 best in the sport? Say what you want about Floyd
but he has made efforts to fight Shane in the past but the schedules
or adgendas didn't meet but now Floyd is fighting Shane something
Pac said he wasn't interested in doing. Clottey better bring his A
game or he is going to get humiliated.

Cotto has a lot of heart but not much in the brain department. The trick was to get the psychological edge by making Cotto think about making weight and then zap him of energy that he would need in the later rounds and it worked because Cotto let them have it.

You are ridiculous you know that. Cotto weighed in at 145 and looked perfectly healthy and not weight drained at all. It was 1lb lower than a lot of his previous weigh ins. He trained for the Pac fight harder and longer than he had for any other fight of his career. I thought Cotto looked very good in the early part of that fight but he was discouraged when he realized his power was not slowing Pac down and pac kept coming. Cotto is a very smart boxer and showed that in both the mosley and clottey fights. The margs fight he was up against a freak of nature that he was completely outboxing but the guy just kepts coming forward and may have had loaded gloves for all we know.

Oh floyd said he wanted to fight him so i guess that is as good as fighting a guy. Floyd is full of ****. He retired from the sport when there was a huge list of great fights right infront of him. Over the last 4 to 5 yrs he has dodged every top welter and is now finally being forced to fight someone his own size who is a potential threat. Cotto faced mosley with no questions asked and beat his ass a couple of years ago. LETS NOT GIVE TO MUCH PRAISE TO FLOYD FOR FINALLY FIGHTING SOMEONE HIS OWN SIZE. Listen I have a lot of respect for Pac Man, him and Pretty Boy are my two favorite fighters to watch. But for one, there will be no way he knocks out Clottey. And for Pac Man's sake I hope he doesn't take this fight lightly. Clottey is very underrated. Im not guaranteing a Clottey win, but I do think Clottey has a 50/50 shot. Pac Man will not knock him out, and Im a pac fan. and as a side note, im really looking forward to Juanma vs Gamboa one day!

Its totally clear to me that Roach has Manny running from pretty boy. Drug test arent holding this fight back it is freddy roach. Freddy is worried that Money's defensive techniques will be too much for Pac Man to handle, cause he knows pac man throws to wildly and floyd will pick that apart.

Roach is right about the last sentence....ability wins fights...that's why they avoided mayweather.......in all seriousness though if he knocks Clottey out it will raise even more questions as to why he wasn't knocking guys out stone cold in the lower weights, but when he moves up 2 or 3 divisions he is dropping guys who come in at 160 on fight night...........

Look im all about having a good boxing conversation, but to call me an idiot for that comment is just, simple. You can listen to all of Roaches interviews and listen to his tone, he is clearly scared of floyds techniques. And im not a floyd ****-rider either. I love pac man. So if ya wanna debate like men without childish name calling we can do that.
