So Pac is pretty much getting this reward when Mayweather has beaten the same opponents as Pac has. I don't like Floyd, but I still think this isn't right. And Hopkins would be a contender for it too if he had the balls to fight and beat Chad Dawson or Adamek.

Decade compose of 10 years. Floyd retired for 2 years. Do the math why he can't be a fighter of the decade beside cherry picking his opponents.

I disagree totally. Floyd should be it for Fighter of the Decade. The fact that Mayweather vs. Mosley will beat in PPV will prove who is tops once and for all.

Them Boxing Association guys should have also included PPV fighter of the decade in their awards

I call bull****. I don't like Floyd one bit, but to me Pac should've had to fight him before being crowned with this achievement. If not Floyd, at least Mosley. And he fought neither guy. I think if their was a round robin between all those guys there would've been a possibility that Mosley could've gotten it too if he would've beaten either Floyd or Pac. But the thing that's bull**** is the other guys that are contenders for it in my view are fighting each other while Pac is going after a Top Rank fall guy coming off a loss.

There are some cats that simply dislike Manny and their reasoning appears more a bias then a accurate summation of his evident talent and achievments.
Floyd is a fine Boxer who has created an illusion. Unlike pure boxers before him, Mayweather has simply not stepped up his opposition. Pernell Whitaker was a true crafts man who fought truly tough guys. "Money" took over a year off and came back with an exhibition bout against Marquez wherein he stacked the deck beyond belief, even refusing to make weight.
To suggest that he deserves any accolades or awards for his lack of opposition and then self exile is ridiculous.
Should he get past Shane, then a serious conversation can ensue regarding his place in the sport as of 2010.

No. I'm not saying that. I don't think this reward should be given out yet period. I don't care if the decade is up. Mosley, Mayweather, and Pacquiao should have to all fight each other before this award is given out in my view. Let's see who the best in that decade really was regardless of resumes. It's only being fair dude.

Unless you have a time machine then by all means, go ahead and use it, but if you don't and cannot go back at least a few months, then Pacquiao deserves the recognition of fighter of the decade because the damn decade is over.
