id be surprised if mosley goes the distance TBH

and im not a FMM fan at all, i jus recognize he's the best fighter in the league.
I haven't seen FMM fight yet, can you post a video of this new best fighter of today.

Shane can beat Floyd...anything is possible in boxing. Douglas KO'D Tyson...Mosley landing a solid shot on Mayweather is possible...but unlikely, though.

        I'm betting on Floyd regardless.

If both put out the best of their abilities, both are capable of beating each other.

The way I see it is that Mayweather obviously would remain as a defensive fighter with his potshots...jabs here and there, lunging left hooks and occasional combos of left and right.

This could actually work and win an UD for him. His defense is just superb. His shoulder rolls, fades and bob/weaves. HE SHOULD WIN THIS ONE.

However, if anyone, Mosley have the speed/power and leverage as well. Mayweather cannot take Mosley lightly, if at all. Despite Mayweather's mastery of range and neutralizations – if MOSLEY can induce him or draw Mayweather out of his on-guard position and into an off-balanced position while with impeccable timing and speed, MOSLEY can hurt Mayweather.

And if that happens, then MOSLEY can even knock him out.

But Mosley would have to be on the very top of his game. Precise shots and follow up.

But I don't think that Mosley can do it from the usual strategy and range. Mayweather is just too good defensively. What Mosley have to do again is to draw Mayweather out of his comfortable position and keep him off-balanced.

JABBING and impeccable timing is what he needs to beat Mayweather.

But precisely, I think that that MOSLEY would have to get out from the usual 1-2 combo. That will never work with Mayweather most specially with the typical cadence.

What Mosley should do is to throw lead rights also and the left hook. Aside from the given JABBING...and JABBING often. Mayweather is a master of neutralizing against the orthodox boxer's right cross with this Shoulder-Roll. And with his lunging left hook, Mosley should beware.

Thus I would like to see Mosley throw occasional LEAD RIGHTS. LUNGING LEFT HOOKS and UPPERCUTS. Make Mayweather get out of his comfortable stance and his "fades and ducking". Thus the complimentary LEFT HOOK or UPPERCUT.

To simulate a lefty by throwing from off-centered, unusual angles.

But if Mosley would resort to conventional orthodox 1-2, it will be very predictable for Mayweather.

Prediction? Mayweather for a UD but if Mosley can launch the unexpected, and hit Mayweather, he should rain on him and not let up. It can go either way but Mosley can't be complacent. The pressure is on him.

A part of me wants Mayweather for the win for the inevitable Pacquiao fight......whereas I also like Mosley to teach Mayweather a lesson or two.

Can he win? Sure. He has a much better chance then anyone Floyd has fought in a while. And he WILL slug with Floyd. He cant win in a boxing match. And Im 99.999999999999% sure Floyd cant even drop Shane let alone stop him. Floyd by UD.

Hard to take you seriously when you think Floyd Mayweather can outslug Shane Mosley. Also hard to take you seriously when you think Floyd will stop Shane, who has never been stopped fighting WAY harder punchers than Floyd Mayweather.

Shane can win with a good gameplan applying smart pressure against a guy who has never fought anyone as good as even a 39 year old Shane Mosley.

It could be anyones fight, but many underestimate Mosely (and Bro. ****m and the team), I think Mosely will be the aggressor; with smart aggression especially his jab and straight combination. I really didn't see wide punches from Shane in the Margo fight until Margo was already softened up...then he unloaded the looping punches...If Mosely has enough volume in the beginning of the fight, it will force Floyd to come out of the pocket and exchange. When that happens...it's a Mosely fight, and Mosely is not that type of fighter to sit back and let you pot shot him. He will be the agressor at that point.

I don't see a UD by Floyd...I see this fight very close...it's a good fight!

this fight is a few years too late!!!

                    shane is past his prime.
look at him on fight night, he'll be slow, over the hill and old.

ok, shane might be past it, however let's not forget Floyd could be slightly fading too..
Whose to say that Floyd is still in his peak?
