This marks the beginning and is a great first step in the right direction for Mayweather. Mosley will be competitive but in the end I think Floyd wins on youth and natural ability, having said that this must simply be a first step and it cannot end with Mosley. Mosley is a great challenge for anyone but Floyd must take further steps after this only taking on the elite fighters in and around 147-154, anything less than that level of competition and he will be right back to where he started as far as public opinion goes. In any event, great first step for Mayweather.

TK, you are using a little "literary license" there, when you write that Mayweather hadn't been challenged since his fight with Corrales...........

You yourself wrote of that fight that Corrales was almost starved to death tryign to make the weight, that his skin was grey, and his ribs stuck out like a .......

You get the message. Mayweather picked on Corrales positively knowing that he'd left the 130 lb division months before, because of weight problems, and at the same time, needed a big paycheck because of his legal problems {he was already waiting to go to jail for a 2 year sentence for spousal abuse-which he did immediately after the fight} which caused him to need money desperately.

So the Mayweather brains trust jumped at the chance to get the unbeaten, huge punching Corrales at a very bad disadvantage; and they took full advantage.....

You also wrote that when you saw his condition, you knew at once that Corrales in that condition had no chance. His trainer stated that he had a tough time trying to get him to train,(which he did half-heartedy) that he would spend his time in his room, playing computer games when he should have been training.
