      He's wrong about that. Pacquiao said afterwards that Cotto's punches did hurt him a lot, but that he was able to hide it at the time.

        I thought Cotto's "plan A" was fine - he did very well in the first three rounds, and hurt Pac several times, although at the time Pac managed to hide the fact that he was hurt. But where team Cotto went wrong was that they had no "plan B"; and after the second knock-down, Cotto simply had no idea what to do.

          cotto underestimated pac's speed, power, and durability. thats what killed him. brotha nazeem got everything right on the button regarding pacquiao. he is a big dude.

                Cotto thought he could muscle pac around and manhandle him, had he kept on the move, stayed with his jab and continued to use the ring, he would have fared better, but cotto didint do that, he decided to plant his feet in trade which is what pac wanted and he got stopped.

                cottos plan A is what got him ****ed up to begin with, they constantly talked about being "bigger".
