kinda sounds like everyone has written jmm off. why, he's the only fighter to take pac-man to real danger. imo, i gave the 2 fights to jmm. the 50-50 split is kinda wrong. jmm knows pac-mans style and knows the holes in his armor. for some of you to say no way, they should'nt fight, you are not looking at the situation from both sides. i'm not saying clottey is a bad choice, it's actually very dangerous, there are really only 3 choices, mayweather, clottey, marquez. but that's just my opinion

Even when I read this article for the second time I couldn't believe it. What's wrong with this Vester guy? To say that "Marquez was demanding 50-50 and drug tests..." is to say that all boxers take part of the negociation when trying to put a match together. I'm sure it was a GB promotions strategy to put pressure on Pacquiao and force him to take a bout with one of the GB stable. This had nothing to do with Marquez. People tend to forget in boxing very quickly. What happened with FLOYD not making the weight in Mayweather vs. Marquez fight? Marquez's sin was to accept the big payday and continue with that ugly show. We all know Marquez is cashing out his career. Even a fight with HATTON in the 140 lbs. would be an uneven fight.
His division is 130-135 pounds and no more!! So please, stop saying Marquez is a primadonna right now because he is not. In the past, he gave up money to fight PACMAN.

@ 147 Pac will hurt JMM. As great as JMM is, time has a way of catching up to fighters. He looked old and very slow in the PBF fight. Pac has JMM's chin's number and he will dial it up everytime they fight. In both fights, JMM hitting the floor was the difference. And I think at 140 or 147, he won't get back up.

JMM has the skills and the gameplan but as I've always said, everyone has a plan until Manny Pacquiao hits you in the face.

marquez is out of his mind. He aint that big, especially after that one sided loss to floyd. Plus, I dont think marquez can handle pac in the ww class. He's slow and not as good as he is in the lightweights. pac is still fast and much stronger now that he's in the ww's plus he's improved more. Though I would like to see a Cotto vs marquez. That would draw some attention.

i agree to some extent. jmm must be much more comfortable fighting pac than fighting like e.g. floyd. pac style suits his style as well.

but i have to see them fight now. pac has dramatically improved than during that last marquez battle.

The only thing that has improved about Pacquiao is his cherry picking.Pacquiao cultists have managed to convince themselves that Pacquiao improved so much in a matter of three months when he destroyed the limited and tailor made David Diaz,to overwhelm a weight drained walking corpse in Oscar De La Hoya,to knock out another limited,glass jawed Ricky Hatton and to then con the public even further stopping an over the hill Miguel Cotto who Pacquiao didn't have the testicular fortitude to fight at the real welterweight limit.

I dont know why Marquez is surprised that Pacquiao ducked him once again. If Pacquiao fight Marquez again, he'll put a Sept fight with Mayweather at risk. I know that there are finster people out there that cant accept reality, "Marquez already beat the **** out of Pacquiao twice!" Pac will NOT want to take a third beating. So, Marquez buddy, dont be suprised, Pacquiao already showed that he's afraid of you. I bet he's hidding behind Buboy and Roach everytime your name comes up!
