Can anyone credibley explain why Mayweather did not deserve to be DQ'd against Judah?

First of all I hope this is not a repost, but my searches turned up no results.

This is a question which I have been wondering about ever since Roger Mayweather stormed into the ring during their fight.

My understanding is that the rules are very clear: if a boxer's second enters the ring, that boxer is to be disqualified.

Why was Floyd an exception to this? Was it because he is Floyd Mayweather? (I quite frankly cannot think of any other reason).

Now I'm not suggesting that Floyd was in control of Rogers actions, but he is still accountable to the unified rules of boxing (well, theoretically he is at least).

So then, are there any rational answers for why Floyd was not disqualified for his cornerman entering the ring during a bout, whereas the rules would seem to unequivocally state that under such circumstances a boxer is to be disqualified?

This is a serious question.

That is up to the referee to call on the spot. A cornerman entering the ring however is not a judgment call, as is a foul.

It is a good question indeed, but Ref's make mistakes.

There are plenty of times that a ref makes msitakes, but because they are hired by promoters, it's not always fair. That's why we ened a league.

Maybe because it was such a big fight that the ref could not do it and also it was kind fo hectic. They should have 2 secondary judges to help in the bakground like they do in football (soccer)

Also Zab was lucky.

Yes but those officials do not get consulted other than the doctors. We need action replays like in rugby for incidents.
