Dirrell did not rope-a-dope with Froch.

Dirrell backed himself into corners, but I do not recall a time when he just covered up on the ropes and let Froch throw for an extended period of time.

Obviosuly it isn't as good as Direll or Wards, but He showed much better footwork than Taylor. I mean Abraham fought many rounds bouncing on his toes and outjabbing Taylor, who you thought would win, which I could not believe.

Fact is, a one-handed Taylor won 4 rounds and Abraham bitched when Taylor went to the body.

I dunno, I can see dirrell showing off his track star skills and winning a boring fight by UD but if AA knocks him clean its over.

Should be an interesting fight .

Those shots were either low or border line IMO. He does work the ref well though, I'll give him that.

I don't understand why fighters try throw jabs straight down the pipe into Abraham's stomach. He manipulates his body so you either hit his arms or you're forced to throw it low.

at times Dirrell hang in thew ropes near the corner to evade kinda 5-6 punch combos by Froch, then moved away...if he does it vs. AA he will find it hard to avoid his forehead hitting the canvas...

...or them bouncing low below his waist...just a clever tactic that gets his opponents frustrated...

I gave him three rounds, but it was the worst beating of Taylors career.

One thing about Abraham though, other than his power, he has excellent defense. I don't think some of you know how good his defense is. In the Miranda rematch and the Taylor fight I couldn't believe how many shots he blocked with his Winky Wright style defense.

Like in round eleven? He wasn't leaning up against the corner all covered up. He ducked low and slipped every shot.

I don't remember him just laying on the ropes, letting Froch wail away and hitting him like Ali did to Foreman.
