That's nothing to be proud of, Brook is a green rookie with 20 pro fights.

Shall we look at who Pac was fighting at 20 fights? Oh, its old Ariel Austria 9-6-3 ROFL, it would be another 8 fights before Pac was Brutally ktfo again by singsurat, yet we forgive that because "Pac was young and inexperianced" so dont make out like Brook is anywhere near his prime yet!

In fact, if the fight goes through, I feel it'll hurt his legacy by diluting his resume, even if it's justified as a junket after going through a war with Cotto. There are so many compelling match ups without going to JMW.
I have a problem with the notion that going after a unbeaten 154lb belt holder when you are a natural 140lber is somehow cherrypicking.

He gets props for targeting a bigger fighter, certainly, but all I'm saying is that by choosing Foreman, he's avoiding tougher challenges like Spinks or Martinez, especially the latter.

If Brook wasn't to walk into a whirling buzz-saw (Pacquiao); then by all means Earl-Hickey, let him...you say that Brook's is a rookie with 20 pro fights...do you think that's enough experience to fight Pacquiao? If it is, then let him...he'll get the experience of a lifetime.

Alembic - I think if your going to challenge a boxer 20lbs. north of your own weight...you, as the challenger, get to pick who you want to fight...b/c that fighter that's 20lbs. heavier than you already has the advantage of KTFO'ing YOUR BUTT!!! just by his weight alone. Unlike other fighters who don't even fight the best at his own weight class (PBF)...who would rather fight smaller fighters to preserve his "goose egg." Can you imagine if PBF challenge a fighter 20lbs. heavier then him. How much more respect PBF will get from the boxing community and fans.

Alembic - Pacquiao doesn't want to clean up...he want's his Legacy. Noone in boxing history has done what he has done. But with that said...I would like to see Pacquiao clean up 147 or 140.

Funny you should say that, because you're using the same logic that Mayweather fans were using not too long ago.

Baldomir was defended as an opponent for the same reason that Foreman is now being defended as an opponent: size rather than quality.

Who cares if the guy is bigger? If he's not that good, then he's not that good.
