@ShoulderRoll: Where did you see the article that ODLH would give Pacman a cutoff date for the blood draw? Where is the article? And does it quote "ODLH". If it's not a reputable source that quotes ODLH, then it's BS... Put up or shut up, where is the link?

I think the best thing for the sport of boxing could be if Floyd just retired again. If he and his team can't make the big fights happen against the likes of Pacquiao/Mosley/Berto/Williams/Cotto, then what is he doing in the sport? If he retired again then at least talk of him and his possible fights would go back down to a minimum. At the end of the day he isn't in the sport to make the best fights happen or to please the fans, he is in the sport to boost his bank balance. I know the same could be said about the majority of boxers but when that is coupled together with the most sensitive risk/reward ratio the sport has ever seen then that is not a good thing for the sport of boxing as a whole.
If Floyd can't do a deal with Pacquiao without making unheard of demands about drugtesting and refuses to take on a top WW in Mosley/Berto/Williams/Cotto, then just retire because the sport doesn't need him.

Boxing is no different than it has ever been. This same **** happened with SRL and Marvin Hagler. They let it simmer for years before making it happen.
The real problem here is Floyd Mayweather. 2009 was a great year for boxing until Floyd came back and not only tied up 147lb, but 140lb and 135lb. Floyd's selfishness is the problem, not the promoters.
Once Floyd is out of the picture, things will get rolling again.
I predict Pacman ends up fighting the winner of Mosley-Berto, Floyd chases a shop worn Cotto, then fakes retirement again.

Some boxing fans are funny man, you wanna see a man busted up and struggle for a win and then say.."oh he's great, look how he pulled through, etc.." but when you dominate and dont even make it look challenging, people say "oh, the other guy wasnt a good enough opponent, he needs to fight so-and-so.." its a never ending cycle..
1. Floyd is the greatest and will beat the **** out of Manny.
2. Manny not agreeing to the drug test makes him look su****ious, if it were me, id take the test to prove i was clean, and then administer an ass whipping to my accuser, it'll be like a grudge match.. but he cant... he knows in his heart that Floyd is too much for him.
3. If manny agrees and fights, then on march 13th his reign will be over and i think he nor his people are ready to stop riding that gravy train yet.
I just don't know why you can't see through the BS my man. No one is denying his skill, it's his heart. The man has no balls!

He don't have no money from what I understand. He tried to venture out and turn himself into a star but it just never took off. Boxing is how he gets paid.

You can't deny Mayweather agreed to the weight and the gloves and the 50/50 wich surprised me.
I don't think Mayweather ducked Manny.
Now,Mayweather's return to boxing is BAD FOR BOXING.
Look,
he stopped JuanMa's great run, they bought his name.PERIOD.Shamefull.
I mean, this fight was useless. It's a another one sided joke fight on PPV against a cherrypicked smaller opponent.
THIS FIGHT WAS BAD FOR BOXING.
He brings back steroids troubles in boxing, and this for no reason. There is no real reason to think Manny's power is suspect around 140.
Manny kos ratio since 1996 is over 90%.
That's why every experts agree that there are no reasons to think Manny is juicing.
People buy Mayweather's fights in order to see him getting beat. His 0 and his mouth are his PPV values.

What people need to understand is Mayweather gets paid to be the "bad guy", right now Pac is the one looking "bad". Not the other way around. We ALL know what Mayweather does to every fighter he faces (talks shyt), so why do people act all shocked now? Its expected, its drama, its promotion and it sells in every situation when Mayweather's name is involved. He is a salesman of boxing, like it or not.
Again, right or wrong Mayweather was not the selfish one. Pac is/was. If he would get over his feelings being hurt and "give in" and prove himself with these tests it would have ended everything and could of got the fight underway (outside of the courts). To me, that's being selfish regardless of team Mayweather being right or wrong.
Mayweather is playing games (as mentioned earlier it is expected). Why people don't understand this is beyond me. Mayweather is "bad" only for the good.
Pac just needs to accept that and make the fight, but as the writer explains fighters are becoming to selfish........
and I have no idea what the hell he was getting at about Don King.... I think he had an agenda to make Arum look good who knows.....Last edited by WESS; 01-02-2010, 10:49 AM.

When Mayweather was retired.
The bests fought at 147,Cotto,Mosley,Margarito,Williams,Quintana? it was the time where boxing began to be better.
Now everybody focus on Mr.Boat Buyer a walkin controversy and is trying to get a shot.
2008-2009 good boxing years is a proof, boxing don't need Mayweather, because Mayweather is a coward and HBO sucks.
Don't get me wrong,if Mayweather was fighting the bests,if he was fightin Mosley,Margo,Williams and Sergio, then a crack at the middleweight crown vs Pavlik,he would be damn good for boxing.
But it's fantasy.
Now,Crackhead Sr,uncle Roger and Joy jr are back with their bull****s,BoxingScene forum is full of ****.
He was goin to fight an other blown up featherweight and I don't care casuals wanted to see it first.
If Mayweather don't fight Mosley and Williams next.He need to start a dancing career.
