I don't think any fighter should have to submit to that type of testing, unless there's proof they've ever cheated. Just like Chagaev shook his head at Valuev and went and fought Wlad....you don't want the fight, then we'll move on....

If the fight doesn't happen, and with Pacquiao's image tarnished... is this enough to give Mayweather the undisputed fighter of the decade tag? Part of mindgames or not, I'd rather see these fighters destroy each other inside the ring rather than outside it for this status.

Pacquiao is at a disadvantage with regards to PED and steroid-use accusations being hurled against him. Pacquaio being a public figure and a foreigner would have difficulty making a libel or slander case prosper against a US citizen on US soil under US law. The Srs and Malignaggis in the world can talk all they want and not worry about being sued.

Media can propagate and cultivate this belief of steroid use, but that doesn't prove anything. It simply builds su****ion, making boxing bodies look inept in policing its own sport (yeah, adding fuel to that boxing-is-a-dying-sport thesis), and making it a lot harder for future super fights to happen.

Mayweather winning the fight outside the ring by tarnishing a fighter with the best chance to make him showcase his natural gifts doesn't earn him a multi-million payday or add to his boxing resume. Best he'd get out of this is a way out of what probably would be the most difficult fight of his career...and people will find that justification enough to give him boxing accolades he didn't really earn.

I think all fighters should be subject to this kind of testing, boxing is much to dangerous a game to not be testing by any means to know that one guy does not ahve an unfair edge.

He wants him to do it he should do it the reason he is asking is unimportant, he feels the need to ask for it and he is getting in the ring to fight with the man that is enough reason to ask, baseless speculation or not.

Those tests would be spread out over 3 months not during 30 days and Floyd would also be doing them so I don't see what is wrong, advancement is a good thing this is the biggest fight so maybe it starts a trend that helps clean up whatever PED problem boxing has.

I ahev always found it odd what little problem PED has been in boxing, maybe there is no iusse but maybe people just know how to game the system I want to know.

The only difference is that Mayweather is hoping the barage of tests would somehow distract and play mind games on Pac...

But like I said,,, Pac does not have to bend to the will of Mayweather.... He is willing to take the tests but not on PBFs conditions.
