Has Pacquiao's legacy been built on shot/ruined fighters?

Barrera and Hatton weren't shot/ruined.

Barrera was at the top of the featherweight division and in his prime. Hatton was still the top 140 pounder and came off of a dominant victory over Malignaggi.

DLH was way over the hill and weight-drained. No excuses to say he wasn't. Morales lost to Zahir Raheem in a big upset and was considered done.

I had him losing to Marquez, in both fights, so I'm not gonna comment much on that. Cotto, I'm not sure. He looked pretty good in the beginning of their fight but I still thought that Margarito took a lot out of him.

Still. He has the victories and that's what counts.

If these wins were all so garbage then why was everyone picking Oscar to beat him? Why were a significant proportion picking Hatton and Miguel to beat him? Why was the Morales rematch a near pick 'em fight?

These wins are great. You can say what you like but a guy that not long ago looked out of his depth at SFW, who then goes up and starts crushing top guys at 140 and 147, that is damn ***n impressive. End of. He is an ATG, one of the best of them.

I think I'm going for Floyd in this fight, I've just been a fan of his for longer, but you ***tards who come in here with your hate for a legit legend of the sport make it pretty goddam difficult. Kindly *** off and die.

JMM, shop worn after tasting the canvas so many times against Pac and stepping up in weight.
DLH, shop worn at 34 and losing to trinidad and SSM and some say pernell witaker
Baldomir, lost 8 times before losing to PBF so was shop worn.

Just face it. Mayweather has fought fresher guys throughout his career. From Diego Corrales to Jose Castillo to Ricky Hatton. These guys were FRESH when they fought Mayweather.

Just face it. Mayweather has fought fresher guys throughout his career. From Diego Corrales to Jose Castillo to Ricky Hatton. These guys were FRESH when they fought Mayweather.

Nah. For starters, the Collazo fight highlighted flaws in Hatton. He wasn't fresh, he was like 43 or 44 fights into a pro career, and when you have his fighting style, longevity isn't a word near the top of your list.
