There are two things that I can honestly guarantee in this fight.
1. If Pac wins Floyd fans will be creative enough to find excuses on why Floyd lost and they will continue to discredit Pac.
2. If Floyd wins then you won't hear a peep from Pac-Land. Not even one prop will go to Floyd. It will be the biggest disappearing act in the history of sports.
LOL, NOPEY , I will be Hereeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee !!!! smiles
I don't see how people would think that this is wrong or that
the Mayweather camp is scared? I think the fact that both
of them are being tested is a good thing to keep all excuses
and or allegations out of the fight after it is done. Also if
you look at it from this perspective you would agree that
it is a very smart move by Ellerbe considering fighters like
Miguel Cotto didn't have a proper team to thouroughly check
Margarito before the fight and now Cotto's lost to Margarito
has tainted both of their careers. On top of that, not only
Floyd Sr has been vocal about Pacquiao and steroids but
other fighters as well. I think many have to look at things
from every which way to fully understand before posting/talking.
This test will make this fight legit and no questions or excuses
fter the fact.
Paranoia from the Mayweathers,,,,, fear arising !!!! Excuses only satisfy those that make them !!!!!!
I believe Mayweather will do most of his fighting before the fight ever happens and then do a lot of holding in the ring. The steroid thing doesn't surprise me, he's already used that excuse with Shane Mosley so that's no real shocker.
I think Mayweather Sr. should be the one to be tested for steroids. i mean they must be (Sr. and Jr.). that drugs enhanced the muscles of their mouth. they've been talking a lot. look at their lips, its too thick and they didn't felt tired talking, like an energizer bunny...hehehehe
Paranoia from the Mayweathers,,,,, fear arising !!!! Excuses only satisfy those that make them !!!!!!
Your an *******. Fear for what? I don't have no stake in the fight.
your more of a fan of Pacquiao then I am of Mayweather just off of
the fact of how childish and immature your acting towards people
who are obviously a lot smarter than you. What's so bad with having
both fighters tested? It's called doing things the right way. It's funny
how so many on Boxingscene claim Floyd has "***** fans" and or
"Nuthuggers" but to me, Pacquiao has the biggest cheerleaders on
the planet. Anyways, I don't care about that nonsense and it is definitely
a smart business move to get the test done and the Pac camp should
think so too and have no problem doing them.
as if the nevada state athletic commission is not doing enough to ensure the credibility of the fight. well, there is nothing wrong with that. if that's what the mayweather camp want. the thing is this issue has been influenced by ugly old floyd's su****ion of pac's into performance-enhancing drug.
Who knows about the NSAC. The Mayweathers almost have a good enough reason not to trust them. Look at the Margarito case. Keith Kyzer said Margarito's wraps were checked before the Cotto fight, yet Cotto assures Margarito cheated. If someone can get away with plaster on their wraps then that's a good enough reason to question the NSAC's job.
I think this whole "olympic testing" thing, in the end, is a good thing for all parties involved: Mayweather, Pacquiao, and the fight fans. The olympic testing will be good for Mayweather for two reasons. The first is, it will give the man peace of mind. The second reason is that, if Manny truly is using any illegal supplements, then this will deter him and his team from using them, thus keeping the fight clean.
As far as Pacquiao is concerned. Well, the random testing thing is a plus for him because after the fight is done with, and if he emerges victorious, Mayweather will be without any excuses or conspiracy theories as to why he lost.
Lastly, if this fight does undergo the "olympic testing" process, it guarantees the fans a fair fight. In the end...we all win. So why not do it?
(P.S. For the record: I'm on the fence for the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight...may the best man win...may the best man win.)
If Pac was using then he won't use this time. And, if he was not using then its all good. There is nothing wrong with extra tests especially when there are signs that he's using.
Anyway this may be another good excuse for Cotto to say he was beat by another cheater.
Something I noticed that made me think Pac may be on something: His right hand was swollen after the fight and there was no pain on it. I know guys, whos are IBF champs and have the same symptoms and I know that they are using cause I've seen them inject. So you can't 100% dismiss that he's using.
