Pacquiao has to use his speed to neutralize Floyd's elusiveness if he expects to win. I can't pick a winner in this fight. I just hope the winner gives Mosley a shot if Shane beats Berto so the real Welterweight champ can be crowned. I made a thread about this, but I think Pacquiao will retire if he beats Floyd. And there is a little bit of a possibility that Floyd may fight Mosley, but I doubt that too. He'll have too much money to retire on likely.

Yeah... he came back for Pacquiao... after he fought him he's probably going to retire BUT a Mosley fight never was bigger then now to tell you the truth. Back in 99 it wouldn't have been an attraction... in 2006 it wouldn't have been that big... but now were Mosley finally started to open his mouth... and if he beats Berto... the fight would be as big as ever. Somebody else? Mosley is really the only one left... I don't think that anybody still wants to see him fight Cotto, after his two beatings.

But Mosley will have to get by Berto first. Margarito really made it easy for Shane... we will see how much the SugarMan has really left against Berto. He will have his hands full... the only reason why I still think that Mosley wins is because Berto has no real defense... I don't think that Berto will get knocked out but Mosley should land enough to take some steem out of Berto and win an decision.

For the record... I think that Manny and Floyd both would beat Shane Mosley... Shane has some handspeed... but no footspeed and his punches are pretty predictable... he also nobody who fights textbook (with jab and stuff) and couldn't control Manny or May... the would pot shot him all day while moving... and Mosley can only fight his style... if it doesn't work it's over for him... as seen in his rematches. Sometimes he changed his style up but was never on the winning end...

There was def. some action in this fight... Corley is not known as hard puncher but somehow he also hurt Cotto in their fight... this Corley is really something *looooooooooooooooooooooooooool*

I really don't know how you could question his heart... he gets hurt and you saw that his feet were gone for a short time and he was stiff... and what did he do... run? Hold? He fights back like a true champion... kncoks the **** out of him and even goes southpaw on the dude *looooooooooooooooooooooool*

I know exactly how they could question his heart. They simply do not understand or know much about the sport of boxing. Those people are just fans. For a few of them, this will be their first time ever seeing this type of action from Mayweather, so how could they know. And keep in mind that Corley fight was May's first fight at 140lbs.

The fastest boxer May has fought and defeated was Zab but he's way below the speed and strength of Manny. May was predicted to annihilate JMM but he wasn't able to do so. JMM was forced to take the role of agressor which he is not because May didn't want to engage, that's why he was beaten through UD.

Against Manny, which is a natural fighter with 3 - 8 combo of power punches, May will be busy defending the whole 12 rounds. He will be busy deflecting Manny's punches and in no way will be able to throw a punch of his own, unless he is willing to take a risk of being hit with either a left or right lead of Manny. May may land a punch or two but he will not be able to hurt Manny.

After the first two rounds, once May has felt the power of Manny's punches, he will start to ride his bike but Manny will catch him and eventually KO him between the 8th and 10th round.

i have to disagree with your analysis.. Zab is faster than pacquiao, and i dont know what fight you were watching, but floyd easily destroyed marquez.

Manny is used to throwing 3 - 8 punch combinations against stationary targets who lack defense ( old de la hoya, hatton, cotto, diaz )

but when he faces a counter puncher or a technical boxer, those same opportunities arent there and he's the one getting hit.

Floyd is going to keep Manny off his game by using his jab, and by giving him angles and movement.. He is going to break Manny down, pick him apart, and stop him late in the fight.

Manny still has no defense, not much head movement, gets hit too much
