Just revisited the Mayweather Corley fight 4th round.

Doubters should view this round again or for the Ist time and realize Mayweather can be hit, will be hit.

Run all nite, play pot shot all nite with some but not with Pac.

Pac is not like anybody Mayweather has ever fought, no one compares , but Pac has fought better opposition than Mayweather has fought, Pacs opposition has been closer to Mayweathers style than Mayweathers opposition compared to Pac.

The intangibles :

Mayweather hasn't fought but once in 2 1/2 years , we know who that was, not much of a fight or tune up. Its foolish to brand JMM something here, in his weight class he is a great fighter, he never belonged in this weight, Mayweather showed his flaws, during this fight. Character flaws, speaks about the heart. I believe he has a hole in his heart, that says if you can take me to the deep trenches I will QUIT. Mayweathers skills haven't let him get there. His ploy over the passed 4 or 5 years is not to fight opposition that can take him there but fight anybody he can whip and make money with.

I personally think if he refuses to take on all comers if Pac cannot win this that he ought to go into Pro Wrestling and stop disgracing the sport. It is a mockery to boxing to have the skills and won't take on all comers.

Mayweather has a lot to prove if he takes this fight with Pac.

He can't cheat on the weight this time !!!!!!!!!!!!

Roach will call off the fight and rightfully so !!!!!!!!

If they fight we will see war, Pac will come out the victor, he will either KO Mayweather or make him QUIT in the late rounds. IF if goes the distance, Pac will take the decision. The only reason it would go the distance is because of RUNNING from Mayweather.

Mayweather needs the balls to fight like in the 4 th round of the Corley fight, then we shall see who is who !!!! If he had the balls then ,,,,,,,then he should have the balls now ,,RIGHT???????? LOL

I disagree again... like you said nobody can be compared to nobody because everybody has his own style of fighting. Mayweather has fought good offensive fighters. Pacquiao has never fought an slick boxer. Marquez and Morales are great fighters but none of them defend good. Mayweather is Marquez but an whole different class... of course he ain't as fast as at 130... but Morales and Marquez showed you that speed is not even what is needed to beat Pacquiao... technique and timing will do it... welcome to Floyd Mayweather.

He has showed heart problems in the Marquez fight??? Well, it was pretty easy work for him and he even went for the KO. He did it his way but he put mustard on his punches to the end. If you think you see something in his heart because he ain't finished him think again... you can't compare guys like Pacquiao, Leonard, Robinson whomever to Floyd. Even though Floyd has traits that these guys have... he is an defensive fighter first. If you want to compare him compare him to guys who had especially good defense and speed... guys like Pep, Whitaker etc.

What should he cheat... it's 147... what should he cheat... the last time he ain't cheated as well... if he wanted to why do you think he came in at 146 pounds and not 147. He thought he can make that weight easy and tried to but realised that he couldn't... he has build muscles as well (arms etc.)... it was unprofessional... but it wasn't cheating... if you know May and how you characterize him you should know what money means to him... do you think with his money problems he throws it away like this...

Again... what does that prove... if Mayweather fights like Pacquiao and Pacquiao beats him while he fights like that... what does that prove... that Pacquiao is the best Pacquiao *lol* Mayweather should fight like Mayweather... I'm also not saying Manny isn't allowed to throw combinations and have to box him for 12 rounds... Running = Moving... sure he will... 4th round Corley May fight . Corley nailed May, I watched Corely, nothing like Pac but the secret was the right hand more than the LEFT !! The left was getting there but the right hand was landing and it landed enough to let me know Pac can land his , if Pac lands the right hook May will go down, if Pac lands the right hook the left will land too and then its on Pard ! SMILES Same with the Burton fight, Burton landed the Right hook, if he can land it we know Pac can.

The difference is this,,,,,, Pac has the Power in both hands to put you on your back and not move for a few mins. One shot power. I saw Mayweather just beat people to death with lots of shots but they didn't hurt little ol Burton.

Pacs got the goods. He has brought this on himself and he loves its. He loves to fight, May don't !!! He loves to brawl,,,, May don't,,,,,He's been in with slick boxers just as fast as May in the lower weight classes, they didn't survive.

May needs to say in his mind you know self, God gave you all these talents , I just need the balls to implement them against Pacmang.

So you rest your hopes on the 4th round or the Corley fight??? What about the other 11 rounds in this fight. I could rest my hopes on about 15-20 rounds in the fights with Marquez... 10-15 rounds in the fights with Morales.

You simply ignore your own saying... you said that Pacquiao previous fights has nothing to do with him now... but May's fight with Corley and Burton (who isn't even a southpaw) have??? May fought these fight the way he did because he could... have you him ever seen against strong puncher fight like that? It proves nothing... I could say that Pacquiao got knocked out two times... but who cares...

I disagree again... he had one shot power at the lower weights... he still has power to hurt... but he needed a lot of shots to get Diaz out there... DLH was never down... and Cotto could have gone on as well to the finall bell... the stoppages were right... but still he ain't killed them with one shot. The Hatton punch was a think of beauty... but everybody who walks like that into this shot will probably get knocked out...

Again... why balls... if you get into the boxring it's about winning and not about showing balls... if you want to show balls go out on the street and start a fight with 2 bigger guys... then you can show balls... boxing is an art... if you have to show balls... you have to... but in first place is always winning.

Bob Arum can say what he wants doesn't mean he's right. No one knows what's gonna happen on March 13, it's a 50/50 fight anything can happen. We all know what Pacquiao can do offensively, and we all know Floyd is one of the greatest defensive fighters of all time. We'll have to wait and see, no matter what happens i won't make any excuses for neither fighters, and i hope both fans of Pacquiao and Floyd do the same..

In today's era, most Boxing fans enjoyed Manny Pacquiao style more, but most hardcore Boxing fans truly appreciates Floyd Mayweather's style, it's the sweet science of true boxing. I am a fan of both Manny and Floyd, i do enjoyed Manny style more, but if i were to get in the ring, i would prefer to fight like Floyd.

Another poster in another thread put it in great context... I can't tell you what it was 100% but the context was:

There are two kind of posters: Boxing fan and the entertainment fan. If you know boxing and appreciate boxing for what it truly is... you will appreciate and love Mayweather's skills. If you are an entertainment fan you won't appreciate him.

I always enjoyed Pacquiao entertainment wise... but he really made me respect his skill as he moved up and showed me that he can as well box, move and execute an gameplan... he obviously still does it in a more fan friendly way then May.
