Think Martinez should hav got a b+ on his defence rather then a b. He washe was moving his head alot during the fight making Paul miss. Fight of the year IMO. All other fights were one sided. The paq fights the mayweather fight the mosley fight the klitihko fight. Not competeative. 2nd and third should be jmm and Juan Diaz, 3rd Andre dirrel vs carl froach. IMO

NO. Martinez showed that he was criminally underrated & PW showed that he was overhyped beyond belief.
If it weren't for 3 American judges and Goosen stuffing money in the pockets of judges ensuring 119-110 scorecards Martinez would have recieved a fair shake.

I think Williams is still a good fighter, but unfortunately I don't know if he is going to get any better. He has untouched foundations that an elite trainer could refine. George Petersen probably isn't a bad trainer and he is someone who is close to Paul. But I just don't think he cuts it at the elite level like say ****m Richardson or even Ronnie Shields. But Paul will probably stick with him just because he's a father figure to him. In a lot of ways Williams is unrefined in certain departments of boxing like Cotto was. But the difference is, he has more will and stamina than Cotto and his physical attributes help him as well.

My memory of the fight is williams head being rocked again and again. But he is a tough guy and so is martinez. Its hard to see martinez not winning at least 6 of those rounds and an arguement could be made for one of the close ones too. That judge from new jersey isnt just blind, he obviously biased or paid off or both. Home cooking at its very best......
