Has Paul Williams' stock went down or up in your opinion?

I read a good post earlier. Every good fighter gets what people call a gift decision at least once in their career.

    Mayweather vs. Castillo 1

    Dawson vs. Johnson 1

    JMM vs. Pac 2

Mosley vs. De La Hoya 2

Cotto vs. Mosley and Cotto vs. Clottey

So does this mean that Paul Williams is a garbage fighter just because of a couple of judges being a little bit generous to him. I can definitely see Williams winning the fight too because it seemed like Sergio was done at the end and he was initiating clinches like crazy. I thought that kind of ruined the fight a little bit. Because when I saw that, I thought to myself this fight is gonna go the distance for sure. Williams acted like he wanted it more, and that to me, was the difference.

As many know I am critical of Williams I will not render an opinion.

All I will say is hype can be a double edged sword. It can be good for promotional purposes but If you do not live up to it...

I'm not sure, but Sergio Martinez's stock went up for sure.

Sergio Martinez's stock went up to me...Paul's didn't really change...I already knew his defense was spotty...I was only suprised to see him dropped...

        And Cotto beat Mosley...

Cotto got 2 gift decisions huh? Such a hater.

IMO Williams stock did not go down. He still gives anybody hell at from 147-160. Anything above 160 he would have to be matched really carefully. He is not a SMW. I just think this fight prove how good Martinez is. I think Martinez would beaten any fighter from 154-160 tonight.

I had Cotto-Mosley a draw. So it was a very close fight. I had Dawson beating Johnson, Mosley beating Oscar, and I had Pac winning by 1 point.

Cotto beat Mosley and Clottley. Clottey let him win the last rounds by not doing nothing.

and Pac won the 2nd Marquez fight with the KNOCKDOWN.

I think that Punch Suprise Williams at the end of the 1st round, because he thought he was going to over power Martinez with the Flash knockDown.
His stock isn't going anywhere because now they BOTH are probably going to be the most feared and avoided in boxing.

No, P. Williams stock is pretty much the same for me. I think he was overrated by most on here and I'm glad some of those people are seeing the light, but P Will is still a very good fighter.

Sergio Martinez's stock on the other hand went up immensely. He might get a fanbase on here now.
