i still think he'a a good fighter with great physical attributes but to not think his stock didnt go down with this fight is just ******. mainly only cuase he was thought way too highly by many.

styles make fights but the way people were going on about pwill as a p4p top 10 in reality he shoulda been a class above martinez. martinez' stock up pwill proved quintana was not a fluke or off nite, he has defensive issues and difficulties with quick counterpunchers. pwills stock down...

Paul's stock stayed the same maybe a LITTLE down. He showed the same tenacity that he showed against Margarito, but this fight was much harder. The point is, most of us already knew Williams has heart and can bite down hard when he needs to. He just proved it again. I don't see any other Martinez style fighters out there that are gonna be able to give Paul the problems that he did. Paul will not lose for a long time, unless he fights someone with skills AND tremendous power.

Martinez went up because a lot of people thought Paul would clearly win. Martinez showed he's one of the better fighters of this generation.

Up, he fought the worst match up possible for him and still won. There aren’t many slick southpaws like Martinez with the stamina and heart to handle Williams. Quintana was a horrible match up for Williams and Martinez is a Harder/Better/Faster/Stronger Quintana yet Williams still pulled through. Both fighters stock should rise after the classic they just gave us.
