Another thing we learned last night is that he is not suitablefor 160. Pavlik would have had a very good chance of knocking Williams out if he caught Williams the way Sergio caught him with them good shots all throughout the fight.
Your right on the money. He always gives up his height advantage by shooting those punches too far in. Leaving him wide open. If he learns how to use his height and length advantage he could be unbeatable below 160. above 160 he will get hurt bad if he continues to fight the way he does.

Martinez was not robbed. Paul Williams won the fight by one round. The issue in contention is the egregious scoring of one judge.
Aside of all the judges scoring, one of the best fight of the year!!

Even Lou DiBella, Martinez's promoter wouldn't have minded if Paul won because you can't argue they were evenly matched the entire bout. Martinez wasn't robbed of the fight, he was robbed of the correct scorecard.

        I had it 115-113 Martinez.

I'm a fan of Paul Williams and a new fan of Sergio Martinez and I expect the fighters I'm a fan of to fight rematches in controversial fights. But look at how many times Israel Vasquez and Rafael Marquez are having to fight each other to reap financial benefits. I say that one of these fighters should have to step up to the plate like Cotto. Yeah, I said it. These guys took damage too, and Cotto needs to beat a champion for their belt for one time in his career.

Or even an Angulo fight would be good against either one of these guys. Angulo would probably get schooled, but he would keep coming and put up a fight.
What the hell is your obsession with Cotto? He just fought Pac and before that Clottey. He would've taken Clottey's belt had the IBF not stripped him for fighting Cotto instead of a mandatory. Talk what you know. Cotto has fought WAY better comp than PWill and Sergio Martinez.

You're right about the competition thing but both these fighters have been wiiling and ready to fight all that comp cotto faced Nobody has stepped up agains them. I'd like to see Cotto challenge Martinez at 154 it would be a great fight and cotto has said he might wanna try for a title at 154. I think Martinez would school him pretty bad but it would be a good fight. Cotto p-will makes no sense Cotto's short and it Pwill has a great chin easy boring win for PWill. How bout PAC-Martinez that is a dream match.

Maybe that's because Cotto isn't as good as these guys, and it's easier for him to get these fights because he's the weakest link. Arum knew that Cotto stood no chance against Paul Williams, and that's why we never saw the fight. Clottey bitched out like Pavlik did when this fight was offered to him.
