Hopkins hasn't went up in weight to fight anybody in the past but now at 45 he wants to... he's got to be losing it. I hope he isn't serious about this fight it would be a seriously brutal ending to his career.
and there is the nail on the head. **** on!

it took Haye 3 years to prepare himself to step up full time to the heavyweight division.

In his last 2 years as a crusier he was killing himself to make the weight. Hopkins not only doesn't have time to put on that kind of weight he will need to wait a long time because Haye has maybe 4/5 fight left MAXIMUM and they don't include Hopkins.

He wants all those belts then he's retiring.

I read all of your responses and honestly i'm just shaking my head because I have a feeling this fight won't happen, but i really wish it does. Just watching Haye not even being able to use his power on that dirty ol Hopkins with his counterpunching and dirty tactics.

45 years old and people still think that power beats him. No workrate/stamina/handspeed? no beat Hopkins, sorry.
Wow... are you guys e-points really worth this man's health lol

HA HA, its Kev's opinion, we all know that the fight won't happen, but if does then I would be very confident in betting with Kev.

He leaped from 160 to 175 to fight the number 1 LHW in the world atm Antonio Tarver.

Haye is the next coming of jesus christ after beating slow-plodding Valuev who 4 fighters in total probably beat him. I thought Holyfield beat him, and some say Ruiz got robbed. Who actually is good at Heavyweight that Haye has beaten so far? He was favored against Valuev the last time I checked, I mean I favored him by a mile. Anyone who thinks someone can win fights on size alone is a moron.

                Haye would blast Hopkins.

Hopkins would have to quit or get end up stiff on the canvas.

I don't think anyone is saying that. What they are saying is that he's a hard hitting heavyweight with good speed and decent boxing ability facing a 45 year old middleweight.

I would throw down a bet with you if this fight happens but seeing as how Hopkins is already being severely written off after an exciting fight with a swarmer type of boxer after a 13 month lay off, i'll want odds with that I know he'll be the heavy underdog as always

                    Trinidad
                    Tarver
                    Pavlik

All favored to win, all were supposed to overpower ol man Hopkins, all got schooled.

Ouch! now that'll be embarrassing for Haye if he loses to a 45 year old MW
