The Ring ****zine's Top 100 Fighters of 2009 List

Here's their list for the 100 best of 2009, please remember this came from the ****zine, so things like the victories of Andre Ward, Lucian Bute, and Koki Kameda have not come into account yet. And don't ask where 51-55 is, it wasn't in the ****zine, so I have no clue.

And this may be reaching, but I typed this up myself for all of you... and green k would be appreciated.

EDIT: This is based around who the top fighters are P4P in the sport right now, not who had the best year in boxing for 2009. As you might be able to tell, there was some confusion about this in the posts below.

    But here it is,

How in the world are Israel Vasquez and Rafael Marquez ranked so high when neither have fought at all in 2009???

I guess they were waiting for the pac-cotto fight to happen and they formulated the results. Why couldn't they wait til the end of year so performances from Ward would not be ignored?

I know that you can't please everyone with lists like these but there's a lot of weird ratings on there.

          Why is Hatton at 26?
And Marg at 23? All he has done this year was get knocked out by Shane Mosley and been caught cheating.

How do they make these lists? Do they get "boxing experts" to make a top 100 list and average out the results to get the ratings?

It's not a very good list at all.

Bradley is too low, Montiel and Salgado too high.
In my opinion Donaire and Caballero don't belong in the top 10.
