sosa cheek bone got broken with that clash ... not surprising it was serious and looked intentional to me ... dunno if they will be able to overturn the decision but an immediate rematch is def needed ...

Did you say Sosa was in control? Look at round 1, Mayol gut the better of the exchanges. Why should Mayol intentionally headbutt Sosa when he is in control of the fight. Honestly, it was clearly not intentional. It was clear that Mayol was throwing a body shot when their heads collided. I dont agree that the WBC will entertain this protest to make it a no contest but I agree that an immediate rematch should take place but in a neutral country like the US. I believe, the rematch will have same result coz Mayol is more faster , more stronger and has more skills than Sosa. Sosa should accept his defeat and prepare for the immediate rematch. Dont be a cry baby like JMM. We wont respect such kind of fighter.

I've watched it carefully, the headbutt was accidental.....mayol was at the act of punching at the body with both foot not moving while sosa's feet was at the act of moving forward with his body without punching.....thus both had contact which is unintentional....it could also be said that Sosa initiated the contact.......Mayol won it fairly in my opinion
