Impressive but not conclusive in the "bigger draw" argument - in fact if anything I'd say Mayweather's Numero Uno numbers are the more impressive.
how so if Floyd himself said Cotto wasn't a draw, but that Marquez had a whole country behind him?

He better. Even though i am a bigger Floyd fan, Floyd has to understand that Manny is the attraction. Who do most people wan't to see, a guy that plays it safe or somebody who comes in to take your head off. I'd understand Floyd wanting more before Manny fought Cotto but now, Manny SHOULD definately get more money. I mean he beat ( DECISIVELY ) the guy that Floyd didn't wan't to face.

no, everyone was talking 600,000 and that it would flop. Tickets were still available and blah blah. Numero Uno surpassed expectations. Firepower, not so much, but fight surpassed expectation. it was a nice fight!

Floyd said Cotto wasn't a draw. He chose JMM over Cotto because Cotto was from a "tiny island" and didn't bring anything up to the table.

Manny Pacquiao just did 1.25 MILLION with who Floyd said no body knew.

                    according to the report:

                    pac/cotto did 1.25 million pay-per-views

                    floyd/jmm did 1.05 million pay-per-views

add to that the fact that pac/cotto was priced higher than floyd/jmm and pac/cotto sold out and they didn't have to hand out any free tickets, plus pac/cotto didn't fall on a holiday, nor did pac/cotto have 6 months of promotion... adding all this up, means floyd will have to bow down to 50/50 or even 55/45 in favor of pac.
