yeah because he is scared of pac...he wants pac to be overweight just like what he did to lightweight champ marq...if he fought marq at 144 why not pac at 145??

mayweather said that whatver manny does, manny cant beat him right?? it came from his mouth...so why not 145??its still welterweight..

if you're a casual boxing fan, would you buy dudes fights if he comes back and says, "he doesn't LOVE the sport, he's in it for the money."
since u said that floyd is a businessman and same can be said of team pacquiao...if floyd can demand and so is team pac....145 catchweight and 1 mil per excess pound is good business for team pac....if floyd wants to come in at 147 he can, but he has to shell out 2 mil not 600k...

Im with Roach. I said practically the same thing about the fight. FLoyd will pop shot and run the whole fight. Hes an excellent fighter and knows the sweet science, just not very exciting to watch if you want to watch a fight.

              Boxing is the sweet science

First off I love Manny because he is very exciting and he goes right in there to take someone out. But I love Mayweather because he has the science of boxing down. Just because he is not a knockout artist he labeled boring. Thats bull, I'm actually a boxing fan, anybody will sit down and watch a fight if they think there's some quick fix knockout and they don't have to sit down and pay attention to the actual inner workings of a fight. Let me get to the point a great boxer will always beat a great puncher. Holyfield v. Tyson/Ali v. Frazier/Ali v. Foreman/Leonard v. Hagler, I could go on and on. Mayweather is not gonna just provide ass to be whooped. I just hope everybody who thinks Manny is the best thing since Tyson in his prime, and he may very well be, give Floyd full credit for beating him and making him look average.

Now when it comes to the catch weight I mean come on, this guy is the Welterweight champion right? He's willing to fight all comers and has no fear, but Freddie continually wants to put whoever he fights at a disadvantage. Oh and believe me if it didn't give Manny an advantage he wouldn't push for it. Bottom line the fight should be 147 and 40/40 winner takes the extra 20% period.

                50/50 split.. @147

Manny would whoop on Floyd and make it look easy..

                Thats right I said it..

hmmm.... damn it, weight is still an issue.......147 might not be the best weight for manny to fight mayweather.

This is bull****. Manny just beat one of the best welterweights; he's now a welterweight beltholder, he doesn't need to fight at 145 he can easily hold his own with a 147 limit! This fight will never happen if Roach insists on a catchweight, never. As for the monetary split - hell if it's that hard, do a winner takes 60 loser takes 40 deal or something.
