hey Jiddu, what was the main reason Floyd stated he wouldnt fight Cotto?

I don't know if he ever said HE WOULDNT fight Cotto, I know Bob Arum didnt want to have Cotto fight Mayweather when they were @ 140lbs.

But I have never heard Cotto say he did or didnt want to fight Mayweather & I have never heard Mayweather say he did or didnt want to fight Cotto.

But this is the thing, Bob Arum NEVER presented a fight to Team Mayweather or a contract. Just like the 8 Million Dollar Margarito fight. Bob NEVER presented a contract. He just yapped in the media to get some attention to his fighter that was a champ by winning a vacant title & was fighting on Friday Night Fights...I cant blame Arum because he is a promoter and thats what promoters do. So everything else is speculation.

IDk why people are acting as if boxing isnt a business. Pac & Mayweather should ONLY be fighting MEGA fights now, they have worked their way up to it.

Why do you think Hopkins-Calzaghe was on regular HBO and Jones-Calzaghe was on PPV?

Im assuming HBO knew they couldnt sell a PPV with Hopkins & Calzaghe, but RJJ's name holds more weight in terms of PPV than B Hops...its all business....
