Just like i said for the PPv numbers for floyd vs marquez, i will say for pacquiao vs cotto. This is great news for the sport of BOXING FIRST and FIGHTERS SECOND. Boxing alive and well baby!!!!!

Anything over a million would be a great success. I can't think of any PPV in history that matched up two non Americans and pulled anywhere close to that. Pacquaio is a star and probably a bigger star than Mayweather. People will pay for exciting fights and fighters. Back in the day we had Tyson as a PPV guru and now we have Pacquaio. Mayweather would make a huge mistake if he doesn't get in the ring with Pacquaio.

Cotto is American because Puerto Rico is an American territory.

Floyd got his Highest PPV numbers with Oscar.

But Mayweather has sold more total PPV's in his career than Manny....thats a fact.

The fact that Mayweather can come out of retirement after 2 years and fight a fighter who isnt a PPV fighter & the public doesnt know & still do over a million PPV's says a lot about his star power.

First of all, we don't know what Pac/Cotto numbers are. This is nothing more than speculation just as Bob Arum speculated that Pac/Hatton would do 2 million. Second the Mayweather/Hatton fight did 875,000 in the U.S. but did 1.4 million in the U.K. In total, the Mayweather/Hatton fight had more PPV's worldwide than Oscar/Mayweather.
