The proof then- Manny only defeated fighters in decline.

This is from BEFORE the fight with Cotto. Roach says Cotto is damaged goods.

Therefore, ANY victory over him is less impressive. How could it be otherwise? Your opponent was "damaged".

Oscar "couldn't pull the trigger". Hatton "can't make weight".

    Etc. Etc.

Freddie has basically explained before each of Manny's last three fights that each rival was washed up, in decline, or recovering. Therefore, he established beforehand Manny couldn't have a good night. There was a 'catch'.

Don't get mad at me. Freddie said it.

Floyd meanwhile, defeated an Oscar and a Hatton in their primes.

    Making his victories more impressive.

ANY time you fight a guy, whether it be in the ring, or on the street (I realize neither happens to 90% of the tough guys on here- playing Nintendo Wii doesn't count) and someone says the guy you beat was "damaged goods" or "can't pull the trigger" in a fight- YOU know it automatically dilutes any victory you got. You don't look tough or impressive, you look weak for beating up a guy who was in bad health.

So why is it different in this case?

I think you are taking Roach's mind games seriously. If someone tells you for months, you can't pull the trigger or you can't take punches anymore. Then you get in the ring and can't hit your opponent or are getting hurt by his shots. Even if you don't belive it you heard it so much it's in the back of your mind.
Floyd does the same thing, Didn't he just call Pac one dimensional?
No ones mad at you. It's just your opinion.

How do you manage to find hate for Manny Pacquaio? What is wrong with you?

The sport of boxing is bigger than Floyd Mayweather. Show a little respect for other great fighters you muppet.

Noone called Pac anything. I didn't. Because you think Pac gets an unfair criticism, it means what? Everyone else 'deserves' it as well?

I don't think Pac is one dimensional. There you go.

All I'm saying is, Freddie Roach establishes that Manny's opposition isn't up to his level. Therefore taking from Manny an impressive victory. Nothing impressive about beating someone who 'can't pull the trigger'.

This is scary in itself. I want to know,

-where I showed "hate" for Manny Pacquaio.

-how I showed "disrespect" for ANY fighter.

              be a man and answer.

My entire post was about Freddie Roach's comments. Which, I want to add- are doing a disservice to Manny. Learn to read. And stop lying.

There is no need for this kind of **** slinging. Manny is a great champion. You can diminish the accomplishments of any fighter you want. I've seen it done for almost every high profile fighter from Ali, to Ray Robinson to any of the great fighters we have today.

Words can come back and be used against you. Everyone uses Floyd's statements against him- so Roach shouldn't be held accountable for what he says on a constant basis?

And come on. Whether you like Oscar or not- how long has he been at this? You think THAT is why he lost? Because Freddie planted a seed in his mind? Thats the most ridiculous act of stretching something ever.

Freddie has now said before each of Manny's last three fights- that the guys he was fighting were damaged.

I am not disrespecting Manny. I am saying, Freddie didn't do Manny any favors with those comments. But, if you believe what Freddie says- then these comments mean something. Whether you want them to or not.
