Only 7 world titles IF the ring titles was a real belt. Don't get carried away with the 7 belt thing. It was just created so you casual fans would tune in..The difference is FMJ, SRL, Hearns and DLH actually won recognized world belts ie..WBC, WBA, IBF and WBO.

Another thing is Pacquiao did'nt just move up and take the easiest fights possible. Pac fought the best and destroyed them

thisd is laughable pac's only win of note at 130 was a disputed tainted decison over marquez.

he moves up to 135 and fights the weakest champ in diaz..no nate campbell.

he then fights de la hoay at 147 who came in weighing 145 a eight he hasn't fought at in 10 years. are you saying hoya was the best fighter at 147 when pac fought him

he then goes and fights ricky hatton the weakest fighter at 140..once again no bradley, holt or torres.

he then gets cotto to drain down to 145 instead of facing him at 147 like he did oscar.

why didn;'t he face mosely at 147 who is considered the #1 welterweight right now.

you *******s are stupis I will debate anyone of you on how overhypoed manny is and why his career was carefully guided to this point to be fed to floyd mayweather jr.

manny is a media creation like de la hoya. when they stepped up and faced real elite competiton they get beat.

floyd shut up pscar's fans, he shut up hatton's fans, he shut up marquez's fans, and now he is going to shut up manny's fan's.

after he does that he will go on to unify 147 and then retire undefeated.

Can it also contain pac's style? You can argue speed and reflexes for both that it would almost be insignificant. The only thing that I worry is the arm reach of pbf and without a significant speed advantage, this might prove worrisome for pac.

You keep referring to the many times that Cotto hit Pac. Please remember that a slow Jmm also hit Pbf flush ( I think 3-5 times ). I believe Jmm and Pac have the same arm length. If a slow jmm was able to hit pbf, then it is a no brainer that pac can hit pbf several times better than jmm.

The cotto fight also reinforced the fact that Pac's chin and power is quite good at WW. And that is an understatement. Pac went through hell in the early rounds and bust his nuts off to get that TKO against an elite WW ( Cotto is elite no matter how much you slice it )

The pbf-jmm fight only proved that Pbf's boxing skill, reflexes are still there. How will he react if he got hit with several hard combinations? When was the last time that Pbf got hit with a hard puncher and can he still take it? This are but few of the question for Pbf that will make this fight very much a toss up fight.
De La Hoya @ 154lbs was a harder puncher than Pac is @ 147

I can't believe you actually asked that. I'm done. You obviously need to learn a thing or two about boxing.

Hatton moved up to 147 to win a title then challenged Mayweather for another title. If you are telling me Ricky Hatton wasnt effective and was overweight @145lbs vs Mayweather when he fought his entire career @140lbs then I would say to you that Ricky Hatton is the bumb of all bumbs and any fighter who beat him shouldnt get credit because he is merely a british hype job who was wrongfully the undisputed champ @140, was undefeated was propelled into the #5 Pound for Pound spot for no reason and once he got to Mayweather, the great white hype was exposed......

its Quite funny that posters think Hatton was unable to fight @ 147 when Hatton himself said that fighting @ WW wasnt a problem

PBF is talking **** about Cotto the his not the same fighter as before his lost to Margarito and downplaying PACs achievement...WTF. He fought a lightweight, bloated and slow Marquez and didn't make weight and he was praising him before because he "step up to the plate"(lol), he should be the "joker of the year." PBF is "one dimensional too" he always keeeps on running during his fight. He has more mileage running than punching in all of his fights.

is a a deticated, hard working Boxing fanatic. I have a friend that knows him
and says no one trains as much and as hard as him. Floyd was born into the
sport from an all Boxing family and was the best and elite level YEARS before
Pacquiao was even good. Can't believe how many people are saying Floyd is
scared of Manny after serving Cotto. Pacquiao is someone not to be slept
on but Floyd will beat him no doubt. People ask me why do you always
pick Floyd to win every fight, because he does. Pacquiao as great and
ferocious as he is, I still see his flaws and it doesn't make me 100% confident
in him like I am with Floyd but to me Manny is still NO JOKE, I just feel he
can't beat Floyd. People say if Cotto couldn't stop Manny then how can
Floyd because Cotto hits harder? Well ask the other 25 opponents by KO
and 15 by decision. It takes more than size and punching power
to win fights and I think Pacquiao has proven that.

Mayweather is the complete package like it or not who can beat Pacquiao. AND for the record, have people on Boxingscene who dis and hated on me because I pointed out Cotto flaws even considered to say "yo you know what, GRUSTLER wasn't hating on Cotto all this time, as a matter a fact he was dead on about Cotto's flaws" I just picked him because I see Manny's flaws and thought Cotto could win because he had a decent skill set but didn't bank on Manny mentally squashing Cotto. What a great strategy
You always analyze things right I guess... Especially for pacquiao...
