i dont understand how Pacquiao has proved so much more than Floyd they fought the same people and Baldomir had 10 losses but hadn't lost in 8 years and was the undisputed welterweight champion and the Judah contract was signed before Judah's fight with Baldomir and Floyd fought Oscar at 154 after Oscar had knocked out Mayorga then fought Hatton when he was undefeated after Hatton had just knocked out Castillo then takes two years off comes back fights Marquez who was the #2 P4P fighter in the world and really beat the #1 P4P guy

now Pacquiao fights De La Hoya after Floyd beats him and after De La Hoya was struggling with Forbes at 147 a weight Oscar hadn't been at in years then fights Hatton after he was knocked out by Floyd and saved by the ref against Laczcano he beat Malignaggi but Paulie can't bust a g**** and even he hit Hatton with a right hand that knocked him halfway across the ring then fights Cotto after Cotto was nearly killed against Margarito and was beat down by Clottey we all know Cotto wasn't the same fighter nobody Pacquiao has fought was the same fighter when they fought Pacquiao none of them and this goes all the way back to Morales and Barrera they was all shot before Pacquiao got to them and thats the truth

i mean you got all these people tryna say Floyd ducking this guy and he ducking that guy but its bull**** Mosley had his chance and didn't want to fight now his wife gone and he needs money so of course he wants to fight plus Mosley had lost to Cotto so wasn't nobody even talking about Mosley the way the talking about him now and Cotto promoted by Bob Arum and Arum didn't want to make the fight because he didn't want to lose his biggest star and Cotto didn't even want to fight Floyd he was in the crowd at the Gatti fight go back and watch the tape after that he said hell naw plus after Floyd beat Hatton Cotto was already suppose to fight Margarito and Cotto got his ass whooped and that killed the May/Cotto fight so who has Floyd ducked?? Paul Williams? who is Paul Williams the same one who got his ass out boxed by Quintana? has he even been on PPV??? what his numbers look like?? i mean come on and on top of all that Floyd calling out Pacquiao right now and when they get in the ring you all will see who the best is so when Floyd whoop Pacquiao ass just remember how great you thought Pacquiao was

Step up to the plate? Punk ass Floyd YOU need to step up!

Floyd telling a fighter to step up to the plate has to be the most hypocritical quote of the decade. He's been ducking TOP fighters for years.. He has no choice but to fight Pac or be recognized as the pound for pound chicken. Step up to the plate? Punk ass Floyd YOU need to step up!

The only way floyd will knock pacquaio out is if he let his hands go, which mean he would have to brawl with Pacquaio for that to happen. Floyd is going to pot shot pacquaio all fight which mean no knock out especially when Pacquaio took Cotto's best shots with ease.

        This what I'm talking about.......

The problem with PBF is he talks a lot instead of facing the REAL CHALLENGES inside the ring. Pacquiao demolished the two guys you fought when you couldn't even dominate them. Now you're looking for new scapegoats to evade the true P4P king. Why don't you let your people sit down with Bob Arum so we can finally settle the issue on who is better between the two of you...enough of this BS coz the fans are sick and tired of all these nonsense Money Mayweather had been saying. Bring on the fight!!!
Mosley wanted to go back down to the welterweight division he once dominated after the first fight, but the rematch kept him at junior middleweight (Fernando Vargas). Now, he intends to go back to 147 pounds.

Waiting for him could be a mega fight against pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather Jr. Mayweather would like the fight in November, but Mosley said he doesn't even plan to resume training until November.

"You know Antonio Margarito is out there waiting to fight Floyd," said Mosley, who earned about $4 million plus a percentage of pay-per-view profits. "Those guys should fight each other and we can fight next year. The only thing I know is my tooth is a little lose and I might have to go to the dentist."

Did you see the real ending of this interview? They asked him who he would want to fight next after Pac, he mentions Ricky Hatton. LOL. That's right Floyd, keep running away from Mosley until he's finally retired.

This is so comical it's not even funny, it's pathetic. Floyd contradicted himself so many times in this interview, yet *****s take his word as gospel.

I was really expecting him in the middle of the interview to bust out some tissue and start crying right infront of the cameras.

            I'm in a no-win situation
I think everybody knows that the alias of this fighter is "Money" and since this fighter gave up fighting for his legacy, the possible fight is the best option for him, as he will earn lots of $$$...

loosely? Is when you post or bring up facts that are backed up
with proof and people still over look and deny them to make
themselves seem right go against what is actual the truth.

              In regards to Baldomir:

"It's really hard, I keep changing my mind back and forth on who's going to win this fight," said new IBF champ Kermit Cintron, who won his title (which Mayweather had vacated) with a fifth-round TKO victory over Mark Suarez on Saturday.

              Cintron

"To me, it's a toss-up," said Paul Williams, the undefeated WBO No. 1 contender, who will be fighting Mario Lucero on the undercard on Saturday, in what he hopes will be a final tune-up before challenging Antonio Margarito for that version of the title.

Margarito, however, must himself first get past a difficult defense in Atlantic City on Dec. 2 against Joshua Clottey, whose only loss was a disqualification against Baldomir in a 1999 bout he was winning on the scorecards. If Margarito prevails against Clottey, his eyes appear to be less on Williams than on the victor of Saturday's contest.

"The only two threats I see at 147 pounds are Mayweather and Baldomir," Margarito recently told ESPN.com over brunch in Las Vegas. He will have, he said, a rooting interest Saturday night.

This is for the people that keep saying $8MIL for Antonio Margarito was SO MUCH for PBF to refuse:

On July 22, Baldomir knocked out fan favorite Arturo Gatti to cement his place as a legitimate champion rather than a one-fight aberration. Promoter Dan Goossen then stepped in to table a deal that contained enough money to make both sides happy (reportedly matching the $8 million Mayweather had been offered by Arum to fight Margarito), paving the way for Saturday's fight.

And here are some more thoughts from the 147 pound division in regards to Mayweather/Baldomir since you guys SWEAR that everyone thought it was SO EASY for PBF.

"Mayweather should be the favorite," Margarito said, "but Baldomir's a dangerous fighter. We'll see."

"It's a good fight," Williams said. "They're calling it 'Pretty Risky.' To me, it's a toss-up. It don't matter who you're in the ring with, it only takes one punch to change the whole night around."

"Like I said, it's a pick 'em," added Smith, although he marginally favors the underdog. "As the fight gets gritty, toward the later rounds, the championship rounds, I'd have to lean toward the bigger guy."

              Cintron tilts the other way.

"My heart is going toward Mayweather on a decision."
              -- Cintron

"My heart is going toward Mayweather on a decision," he said. "It's going to be a tough fight for him, but I think he's going to pull it off. I just think that Baldomir's toughness is going to take him through to the end of the fight."

I think it is always good to have a balance in the sport and what Floyd
is doing in regards to handling his business and looking out for his well
being is good and I applaud him because after all the great performances
and fan friendly fihts Cotto gave us, look how the fans and even some
of his fans are treating him? Why would Floyd fight only for the fans
and legacy when the fans are quick to walk out on you when your doing
bad? I want to see Floyd fight Pac and Mosley next year and more than
likely he will but Floyd is smart because people nowadays don't give a
$#!t about you when your down and like to kick you when your there.

Hey pac fans, soak up this Pac win now because when he faces Floyd jr IMO there will be no cause for celebration.
Believe me i like Manny as a fighter, but as a fan of the sport i don't see Pac beating Floyd jr.

Floyd wanted mosley on a date he had in early november 2006. Mosley had just fought vargas at 154 in july and mosley had already fought vargas earlier that year as well. If you look at mosleys record he never fights more that twice in a year. To do what floyd wanted mosley would have to drop from 154 to 147 and fight floyd in a few months for his third fight that year. I dont blame mosley in any way for not taking that fight. If the roles were reversed floyd sure as hell wouldnt. As was pointed out Mosley suggested that floyd fight margacheato and he would fight the winner but floyd fought baldo on his date of the 4th nov. Mosley needed more time and thats exactly what he said, yet he constantly gets slated for this.
