Cotto stopped boxing manny and using the jab and got in trouble

I still dont think it would have made a difference. This fight showed 2 things; one manny is as good as all the hype and two cotto needs to retire. It is true what teddy atlas says cotto was finished after the whooping he took from margarito. Cotto has crossed the line of no return. He is my second favorite fighter but he has to retire. He s had a great career ducked no one but the punishment he has endured has cought up to him.

Big ups to Pac. I was rooting for Cotto and thought he could pull it out, but I feared the type of domination that was displayed in the ring.

Pacquiao is without question an all time great. I just hope for boxing's sake nothing comes out in the future to make us second guess Pac's accomplishments.

I read alot of posts before this fight and alot of people said that cotto would ko manny during this fight cause miguel looked ripped and he had a 8 pack and things like that!!!! It goes to show u manny has the power to drop a legit welterweight and he got tremendous power... Honestly manny is amazing!!!! And an 8pack dosent win fights and never did!!! Not to take anything from miguel cause he indeed had class.

Nonsense. No matter how you twist and turn it, no title was at stake in that fight. Pacman couldn't win a title, that Barrera had relinquished more than a year before. Pacman went close to winning a featherweight world title when he drew with Marquez, but there was no cigar. Whether you want to count an IBO title is a matter of taste and opinion. I have a hard time taking it seriously. And this is not to say anything bad about Pacman, because what he has achieved is incredible.

before this fight i admit i was a bit skeptical, but after seeing Pac rip Cotto apart i will never doubt Manny again. I was surprised at how well he took Cotto's punches.

legit @ welter, he's amazing! greatest fighter of our time! last night turned it all around for me, i can even tolerate the thousands of Manny fans who don't know **** about boxing, lol.
