Of course it is....you aren't very bright.

    Seriously....
If you've followed boxing for a long time, you'd understand where I'm coming from.
Oscar DeLaHoya is an American fighter. Had every one of his fights here, won a gold medal representing the USA.
    He's an American sports superstar.

I'm not denying his heritage. But, things are viewed differently in the boxing world.

First- Oscar was born in the USA. Raised here, too.
You spent twelve years in the Phillipines.

Still, if you fight in the Olympics for the USA, & then go & have 40 fights nowhere else but the USA....you are an American.

so this is where they get arguments in. So according to jabsRstiff logic Viloria is American, yet if you ask ANY Filipino that know him, the automatic response would be "He's Filipino".

but if you ask me, I'd say HE's MEXCIAN-AMERICAN.

I think that's the mistake you and Iwatch made. You want to call delahoya American, and Iwatch says he's Mexican !

Call him Mexican-American then and this settles it. You agree?

                      RIGHT....

But...my point is that he will not be remembered as a MEXICAN FIGHTER.
