Dawson Would Love To Replace Taylor in The Super Six

Why is everyone creaming their pants over this like it's a total forgone conclusion that Dawson is going to beat Johnson when they fight the rematch? And why is everybody rooting for Dawson to be in this tournament when it is Johnson who is on his way out and could use the money. I also thought he beat Dawson in the first fight and got screwed. I mean, yeah, Johnson has not brought up his desire to participate in the tournament, but I'm sure he would if one of the networks gave him the offer.

And I think Dawson is better off trying to get a fight with Hopkins after Bernard beats Roy Jones. That fight would've happened instead if more fans demanded it, and HBO didn't let Chad take a 9 month layoff. And then there is Tavoris Cloud that Natas mentioned earlier. Yeah, he might not beat Dawson if they fight. But I think he's Chad's toughest fight at 175 that is in Dawson's age category.

You say that. But then you'll talk about how the fight shouldn't happen. Just like Floyd fans do regarding the guys that pose a threat to him. Dawson's stamina and chin are not great. But I'm gonna wait and see what he does in the Johnson fight, because he has to win that first.

Another thing people need to take into consideration too. Johnson is a very tough fighter, but he is not a one-punch KO artist. And the fact that Johnson had him ready to go in that one fight makes me think if Abraham or Kessler caught him flush like that, they would put him away. The last guy that Dawson fought with that kind of power was Adamek of course. And that's why I give Chad his props for winning that fight.

After suffering a crushing knockout loss to Arthur Abraham on October 17, there has been a lot of talk that Taylor might drop out. Dawson has a rematch with Glen Johnson on November 7. I think Johnson has a great chance of pulling off the upset. But I don't think Cloud is ready for Chad, not now.

I wonder why HBO would want to keep Chad Dawson when in actuality he is a liability where their budget is concerned though. It's not like the guy is packing out arenas. I'm not saying this to be harsh. But if I remember right, this is Dawson's last fight for HBO. I think HBO just has options of what his next move is. That is why I'm confused because I don't know what is what. Is this his last fight or is HBO trying to get him to stay with the network?

Hey.....I agree with you 100% on this one. CHAD Is the MAN and he should wait for the winner. That fight would be HUGE!!! Let me get your opinion on something. I think that people are sleeping on ANDRE WARD in this tournament. I think he Is the most polished AMERICAN and can steal it. What do you think?
