Floyd doesn't stand directly in front of his opponents and make them miss every punch.

Both awesome fighters but just because Sweetpea was more flashy in the ring doesn't make him the better fighter. Don't get me wrong, watching him dodge punches like he's dancin at the night club was always fun. But Mayweather is just as good on defense if not better.

Shoulder roll+ lightning Forearm/elbow/glove blocks+ great core movement+ great dodging by any other measure besides Sweet Pea's+ great footwork

I've seen him stand in front of guys and not get hit plenty of times.

Actually, he gets hit less than Sweet Pea did, remember you are watching sweetpea highlights, not the whole fights. I've peeped fights from both. Sweet Pea definitely got tagged more than Mayweather does, cuz Mayweather doesn't just depend on dodging...He has multiple aspects to his defensive game

I do agree with you partially. Whitaker's defensive style was more impressive to the eye... But Floyd's is more efficient. FLoyd claims "lifestyle flashy", but Sweet Pea's fight style was more flashy by far.

You know who else blocked and tied up on the ropes and backpedaled and danced around? Ali. Lol, now don't read too much into that, I'm just saying. And Floyd has done that against multiple fighters Corley, Baldomir, DLH ect.. His own version of the rope a dope..with even better defense.

I agree, Sweet Pea was the more aggressive fighter. But like I said previously, imo Floyd has the edge on power when he truly just goes for it in the ring. Which is rare.
