Did Castillo beat Mayweather the first time?

I have a hunch that this will bring on a storm of angry responses from Mayweather "mafiosos", but anyway. Do you think Castillo deserved to win their first fight??

I can already hear "go **** yourself *****!" coming...

The one thing that people bring up in any fight, are the punch stats and the *****S have always used the punch stats to confirm or strengthen their argument but when you ask them about the punch stats for the Castillo fight, they claim the compubox was broken But they brought up the compubox numbers once again to defend Floyd after the ODLH fight.

I say Floyd lost and so do many and I do mean many other people.

nope... announcers and compubox bloated the actual landed punches from Castillo. Floyd blocked, dodged, or slipped at least half of the punches compubox gave Castillo credit for. At LEAST half.

I think you are under the impression that compubox is completely a computer.

Its human derived statistics..they count punches.. and then input them into the program.

I NEVER had much faith in compubox...sure its a nice little perk HBO offers..but it has been wrong before..and should not be viewed as the end all, be all.

JLC gave away way to many early rounds and he did not sweep the last rounds.

About the punchstats, it has to do about the dispersian of punches, a fighter could land 20 punches a round for 12 rounds while one guy land 50 in 4 rounds then 10 in the rest, so the guy that landed 20 punches a round (240 overall) should most likely win 8 rounds while the guy that lands more overalll punches 280 should only win four.

Punchstats are not used as a judging tool and as looked at round by round the correct man won but it was a close hard fight.
