the winner of the toruney should face Bute, providing he wins his fight over that period.
the winner of tourney should NOT be crowned the undisputed SMW champion, the fact the Rings number 2 ranked fighter isn't in it should take that out of that out of contention.

I'm still thinking his promoter and the people around him are just trying to protect him. Isn't it a world level fighter's mindset supposed to be the best?
Why pass up an opportunity like this, which might not get you as much money as the rematch with Andrade, but will more than make up for it in the world exposure, the lineal championship and eventually bigger paydays down the line?

Watch the interview/video with Andrade.
Andrade: "Bute never gave me the rematch, i had to fight an elimination fight to claime my right for the rematch!"...................
Bute fighting at home, demanding a change of glows just before the fight, holding, pushing and grabbing the opponents legs, getting a controversy win with a friendly ref, not giving Andrade a rematch and now Bute claims he is not desperate to compete in the super six????
You got to be his mother to be a fan - of this, in every way, very talented fighter...

I'm not impressed by him. Talented, good balance, but just strikes me as a very poor man's Calzaghe.

I don't understand how Bute can be considered top dog at 168 when the tourny is finished, and why some people consider the winner should fight him. The 'super-six' will constantly be fighting one major 168er to another up to 2011 when the final will be held.
Bute would have to be fighting impressive names not in the tourny and be undefeated if he is to earn a shot at the winner in my opinion. If he is to beat Andrade, which i think he will, then he has the likes of Green, Bika, Stieglitz, Balszay to choose from keeping him busy until the tourny is over. Beating the likes of these names to stay active is good enough.

I'm not a fan of Bute.
He should already have one loss on his resume, to Andrade.
If he did indeed get the loss, then I doubt he would have even been invited to the Super 6 anyway.
Winner of Super 6 > Bute. With exception to J.T. but he ain't gonna win **** now.

I'm from Montreal, I don't have a problem with Bute as much as I do with his management/promotional team Interbox. Bute is their cash cow & what they are doing right now is milking the crap out of him by keeping his record clean and handpicking subpar opponents they assume he will beat with ease. The large mass of the Quebec/Montreal public doesn't know better and is swollening that crap, they never would of wanted to join the tournament trust me, Bute maybe but not his team.
Yvon Michele the rival boxing promotion in Montreal on the other hand have jean Pascal as their biggest prize boxer but they aren't protecting him in the same way. They sent him to go fight Froch and took a rematch with Diaconu.
Bute, should fight the losers in the tournament I think whom ever comes 2nd or 3rd could drop him.
I'm really annoyed not one Canadian based fighter is in the tourney though, when the hell are they going to push Adonis Stevenson's career?
