The trilogy winner will likely be forced to fight IBF mandatory or get stripped.

Just saying. Even if the trilogy winner fights Benavidez, it won't ve undisputed.

And this right here is why boxing is a dying sham of a sport.

Just guessings of uneducated has-beens, who didn't earn enough to stay quiet in retirement.
The relationship between WBC and PBC should be investigated.

A few years ago the WBC wouldn't sacution the fight between bivol and Beterbiev because he was Russian. Now they forced him to fight Benavidez when they allowed canelo to duck him for years. These belts organizations make up rules out of no where and only enforce them when they want.

However TKO/ Dana and Turki will end up doing the same thing. We need a non bias government runned boxing organization.

            It isn't though, not quite.

Well, I mean... it is but it isn't because when we consider what's actually happened in the last few years in amongst all the controversial endings & decisions as well as all the belt vacating, there have been a lot of unification & undisputed fights compared to the decade before.

Total investment is through the roof, the top-end money's gone up & while the lower-end & lower-weight money wasn't there to begin with(!), if we're perfectly honest the lower-weight money is rising quite sharply in real time (has been since the legendary Super Fly events).

However as much as the undisputed fights with which we've recently been blessed are greatly appreciated, I completely agree it's a tiresome shame that every time we're blessed with a newly minted undisputed champ he immediately gets stripped or has to vacate something.

So the WBC strips Bivol after a MONTH AND A HALF yet they let Charlo hold the middleweight belt hostage for 3 years without a defense... I guess they're still butthurt because he took Canelo to school. Remind me again how long they allowed Canelo to avoid fighting his mandatory in Benevidez (nevermind it's over TWO YEARS and counting...)

“With that trilogy and a great pay day, it was clear he was going to vacate,” Garcia said

Benavidez was robbed of a legacy fight. People can say what they want but at some point its possible he's just being avoided. If people think it's because Bivol is just worlds better and Beterbeiv deserves another shot. Bivol should've fought Benavidez and the trilogy could've waited. Just my 2 cents....
