If he fights Mikey at lightweight he gets knocked out.

If he fights Lomachenko at any weight he gets knocked out.

Perhaps, but it's too bad he didn't even give it a shot that considering fighters at that age (24-27) and with that amount of experience already took these levels of challenges win or lose.

Lopez and Haney did so at least.

Garcia has similar qualities to roach, such as his reach dimensions, a granite chin and sharp counter punching, he also had advanced textbook fundamentals along with a granite chin.

Loma methodical pressure fighting with slick defense would also seem difficult to handle. Vasiliy would also be the bigger fighter between the two so he be difficult to catch with a big shot.

Floyd had a great 130-135 run, he was already Hall Of Famer as pretty boy Mayweather. (Though his run at 140-154 is a mixed bag of great wins and calculated risks that look good on paper) Gervonta just seems to have maneuvered with risk calculations his up to now at age 30.

Any other current fighter would jump at the opportunity to take similiar challenges to catapult themselves, not Davis it seems. Similar case with Ryan Garcia and De La Hoya.

What great wins does he have above 147? Just curious since he has none in my mind

I actually agree with you here. Tank was my favourite fighter until he ducked Loma. I didn’t like his silence when he was called out. Fast forward 6 years and he is still yet to be in a 50/50 even a 60/40 fight. I still never miss a Tank fight but now I’m not bothered whether he wins or loses

At 147: Aged but dangerous Shane Mosley, Ricky Hatton and Marcos Maidana X2. Edit: Also Manny Pacquiao.

At 154: In the downslide but dangerous in both Oscar De La Hoya and Miguel Cotto, a upcoming but strong and tested Canelo Alvarez.

I think he would had lost to Shane and Oscar if they were 4-5 years younger though. But the majority might think otherwise.

Ah ok I don't consider any of those wins great but we have our own criteria. Like for example Hatton at 147 is a nothing win for me. He was terrible above 147. Maidana was poop at 147 with his only notable win being broner? Yikes. If he had beaten near prime hoya Mosley cotto pac etc...but he didn't. Not saying all those were his fault but pac cotto for sure. You get even less credit when you duck for so long then beat shells of fighters
