I missed the fight but after watching the highlights I'm not sure what you saw but it looked closer to a draw.. I like Ortiz but he hasn't looked like anything special in his last 2 fights..I honestly thought Bud would KO a guy like Bohachuk and Ortiz was getting knocked down by him.

Bud would likely KO Ortiz because he gets overzealous with slow feet, he has very quick hands and sneaky power but he is not some KO artist at 154lbs..difference between Mardrimov and Bud is Crawford would also be countering Ortiz making him hesitate

Ortiz is the Mexican Bud should face. He only had 1 fight at 154, so facing Canelo is really going up 3 weight classes. But that Saudi payday is too much to pass up. Ortiz should run it back with Bohachuk.

This was a bad choice for Madrimov. He went straight into a bout with Ortiz, right after losing to Bud. He may have committed career suicide the way Kell Brook did by facing GGG and Errol Spence, back to back. It's hard to recover from these types of losses.

Erik Morales was like that too , he'd be all kinds of offended if someone dared to hit him. Rumor has it that he hit a guy a week after they fought because the guy had hit him last when they fought and he needed to get that get back.
